Just heen out for lunch to The Whiteleaf Cross with my dad. The food was very well priced and tasted good too. The landlord was helpful and cheerful. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely chilled atmosphere, good for sport but not in your face if that's not why you're there, staff super lovely. Usual beers on tap, would be nice to see a few craft beers in there. Will definitely be trying the food when the kitchen opens.

Me, my partner and two of our friends came to the pub one evening, the atmosphere seemed nice so we sat at the bar and ordered a few drinks, then to discover and older gentleman to our left taking photos and videos of us, when questioned the man because defensive and showed us him deleting the images of me, which lead to us seeing all sorts of pornographic images on his phone. When we said to the landlord about it (Mark) he quickly dismissed it and said it?s the man?s decision what he takes photos of and what he has in his camera roll, mark then proceeded to ask me and my partner to leave the premises even though the man had been taking images of me with no consent and as you would think it made me feel extremely uncomfortable!
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AS THE LANDLORD DEFENDS NONCES.

Small beer garden in back. Not a huge amount of character inside but clearly had local patrons and seemed clean and well kept
