I recently visited Wickes in Bletchley and was truly impressed by their top-notch service and helpful staff. Even before arriving, I managed to check a lot over the phone and had a really helpful conversation with one of the team, which saved me time and made the trip much easier. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well-guided. Reece was especially great when I rang up to ask about a tin of Dulux Soft Peach, he checked stock, told me they had two left, and even held one at the till for me. That type of attentive service really stood out.
In the store, Lewis, Chloe, and other team members were friendly, knowledgeable, and made my DIY shopping smooth and enjoyable. I never once felt rushed or ignored.
I also appreciated the store?s opening hours, they?re open early at 7 am on weekdays and Saturdays, making it super convenient to drop in before other errands.
If you need solid advice, a good range of products, and staff who genuinely care, I?d highly recommend Wickes Bletchley. I?ll be returning next time I need materials for a project.

Worst experience with the company, careless disgusting foreign drivers that are clearly employed here and the company has the worst lack of empathy I have ever seen, came across or experienced.
2/6/25 my cat who only goes out 1-2hours a day was just chilling on our private drive way when the van driver was delivering bricks from wicks who then ran my cat over, my cat was twitching, spinning and must of been in so much pain with horrendous injuries that she did not survive while she was spinning and jumping and twitching in pain the driver was just watching her and once her body couldn?t take it anymore and finally given up that?s when the driver gotten out the van to see if she has passed which she did (vet confirmed) the driver did not knock not a word said just got back into his van and drove off. We Was not at home at the time as we was visiting our newborn who was staying in the NICU but we have watched the whole thing on our camera while bowling our eyes out. We then took it to the company to complain and all they said was sorry our driver doesn?t speak English hence why he didn?t inform anyone. So our poor cat was just laying on our drive way for almost 2 hours while my partner gotten back to the house to take it to the vets to confirm details etc
We are heartbroken traumatised and devastated but also shocked with the companies response to the situation
Btw I am not racist I am also foreign myself but I would have never driven off without saying something or taken someone?s pet to the vets or saying something to my work place or ask someone for assistance.

Quick and effortless service ? I was in and out with no hassle. While the store isn?t the best stocked compared to some others, I was lucky enough to find everything I needed this time. Staff were helpful and efficient, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

Comprehensive-ish stock but not too big. On a busy road though so often queues to get access. Not many trolleys.
