Sticky tables rude staff food average. Bad internal layout where you have to sit close to others ideal when you just want a relaxing lunch. (Not)

Great food, ideal for pad thai cravings ? Portions are just as they should be - not too small and not too big. Gyoza dumplings with truffles and mushrooms were so tasty too. I was pleasantly surprised with green macha with strawberry latte drink - tasted delicious! And the stuff is very friendly and always smiling. Definitely recommend it ?

The steak teppanyaki soba sauce is very good, but the cookedness of the noodles is not very even, some are too burnt and some are too bland.
ASAHI beer is brewed in Italy. Sure enough, the European Asahi tastes different
But the service Ren Yun is very friendly It is a very lively dining place.

the service we received yesterday was genuinely shocking. have dined here on several occasions and thoroughly enjoyed each prior visit. i work in hospitality and i would never even think to speak to my tables in the manner our waitress spoke to us. one of my party members noticed that there was a qr code on the placemats and we assumed that it was what you use to order as it's like that in some places. we were waiting a while to order and therefore thought to give that a go, only to find out our table number didn't exist. in my workplace, that happens if the table hasn't yet been opened so we thought that was the case here too and politely pointed out to our waitress that the table number wasn't working. that garnered a snarky and condescending response which is not what you want when you're out for a birthday meal. she took our drink order begrudgingly and we waited maybe 15 minutes for those drinks to be served. by that point some of our party had decided that maybe eating here wasn't the best idea but as we were out for a friend's birthday we stayed. we gave our waitress a little wave and politely asked if we could order as they were soon to close, to which she rolled her eyes and told us to wait one second. after coming back she snappily asked if we were okay and pointed out that we waved her over. genuinely the experience was downright awful, we meant no harm whatsoever and just wanted to enjoy some food after a long day. granted maybe she was having a rough day but that is not a reason to ruin other people's at a place where many come to celebrate special occasions.
