Great room, easy checkin, short walk to MKC station. Would rather have a walk in shower rather than the over the bath one in the room. A smart TV would be nice but I'm just being picky haha. Great night's stay.

Great location, ideal for using as a base to get around the area, and very friendly staff too. Stayed for 2 nights but were separate bookings, but seemingly it?s now company policy that I couldn?t stay in the same room even though I was happy to stay in a standard room over the standard ?plus? that I?d booked. Bar a coffee machine (and a double toilet roll holder in the bathroom) there was no difference whatsoever. What let both rooms down was only having 1 single electrical socket by the desk, but nothing at all next to the bed on either side. I?ve stayed in some Travelodge (Worcester as an example) where there was a single socket with USB ports either side of the bed. Why not standardise the rooms across your hotels?
Only other let down was out of the hotels control. Being that it?s central MK, the local boy racers decided to have a car meet in a car park on the other side of the street on the Sunday evening, ragging the hell out of their engines whilst stationary seemingly to show off to their mates whilst motor bikes used the street like a drag strip, which dragged on till well past 10pm. All whilst the local constabulary sat and watched.

Be careful parking out front you cannot park there from 7am to 8 unless you are a permit holder only. This wasn't made clear to me when I signed in at reception.

Booked a twin accessible room for 2 nights.
Checked in and got key, went to room but it was a double.
Back to reception and given new room.
On opening the door was a pungent odour that reminded me of wet dogs.
Opened windows to clear smell.
Issue with both rotating plug in sink not releasing meaning sink was full and broken soap dispenser in shower where someone had wedged toilet paper to stop the cover falling off.
Reported to receptionist at 10am on way out for the day.
Got back at 10.45pm to discover plug still locked off and water still in sink.
Had to resolve myself.
On a positive note Location is great only 20 minute stroll to Centre MK

MOLD ALERT!!
Absolutely disappointed with the stay here. For starters upon entering the room we just wanted to have a cup of coffee the cups in the room hand tiny curly hairs in them absolutely disgusting. Called the reception to replace the cups they got us new ones and the spoons that came with them weren?t washed.
Secondly, there is mold in the bathroom and pink mold on the shower head. The floors weren?t vacuumed.
Lastly the parking was very limited. For such a lager hotel there should be more space allocated for the guests of the hotel. If i were you i would think twice before booking this Travelodge.
Very Disappointed!!!

There is not such thing as a free parking if they have full parking
You must wake up before 7 am and move your car!!!!!

I?ve stayed at Travelodge Milton Keynes Central five times in the past two months, and every stay has been excellent. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, and always go out of their way to help. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained each time. Everything was smooth and hassle-free, making it a really pleasant experience overall. A great place to stay highly recommend!

Stayed here previous in the past and when that happened the fire alarm went off at 4 am in the morning I never wanted too return until unfortunately now as was staying previous night at premier inn which guests over there the previous night was rude and kept me awake till 4 am in the morning other then that booked early here and paid more too book out later the next day due too birthday and also gaining more sleep and it?s improved better then last time at heart but not impressed with being on only 3 floors on the middle right in front off a car park especially this Travelodge needs a upgrade or closed down and moved somewhere else especially there?s another close by which is more better with standards !!!
Update I sadly have too say this hotel was more quiet then two premier inns I stayed in people are just too noisy and loud not recommended if ur travelling or staying solo travelodge seems better unfortunately

Stayed for one night and would not stay again. Very tired rooms (had to be moved and the one we ended up on still wasn't up to standard). Diid not feel safe here.

Room was clean. Bed comfortable. I have given 1 star because it was so noisy!!!. Doors banging all evening and night. Noises outside like wheelie bins being banged and moved all evening. Not enough plug sockets. I was pleased to go home as I was so tired.
