Budget hotel as you?d expect. Here on business trip. Room size adequate, but very dark. Bathroom is a wet room, mouldy and peeling sealer, never drys out properly either. Food is lacklustre as you?d expect from a travelodge. Glad I didnt have to pay for it . Staff helpful and kind

Room was nice and clean, but when we went to get dinner we was waiting for over an hour for our food and they wasn't that busy.

Shower is a drip - literally! Room clean, bed comfy. Does the job, but this was a work trip and my work paid over £200 for 2 nights. The fact that the shower barely works is not ideal as I had an official event to attend the next day? Staff was nice. Location - depends where you're going. Didn't work for me, but it was because of a late booking. Not the hotel's fault.
No free WiFi which is a bit odd at this day and age in a hotel.
Walls are thin and you can hear everyone talking in the hallway - luckily for me, the hotel was fairly quiet.

No running water for most of the time. Staff hide away.
If you want to get their attention, you have to slap the counter, as there's no bell. This is annoying when you arrive and need to park in the multi-storey, as you only have a 5 min grace period before you're slapped with a fine.
Only one elevator in operation, and that randomly stops at floors for no reason. The door to the staircase doesn't work 95% of the time.
Stayed here 4 times in the past year, and it just gets worse and worse every time.
Only good part is the location, plenty of bars and restaurants around the Hub area. 5min walk from a Weatherspoon.

It's not somewhere I'll be staying again. It's ok for a cheap night in a pinch, but if you want any enjoyment from your stay, stay somewhere else.

BED BUGS! I stayed here for a week in a ?Standard Plus? room and after a few days I noticed I had bites all over my arms. Thought it might be mosquito bites as my window was open but after closing it I noticed more. Came to find bed bugs in the bed sheets. I was moved rooms and originally offered a complimentary breakfast which I declined as I wanted to leave asap. After speaking to management on the phone I got a quarter of the money that I paid back in voucher form instead of into my bank account. Would not stay here again.

Stayed at the weekend. Breakfast was diabolical, with the hot food coming out in drips and drabs. WiFi in the room was intermittent too.

This was perfect for our weekend at a local festival
Downside the massive price increase because of a local event but guess that's accross the board with all the hotels

Poor even for a travelodge!
- no aircon in room
- carpet stained/room generally felt unclean and in need of some major updating
- bathroom was very dirty (mould in shower, smelt damp, water just stays on the floor after you shower, extractor fan wasn't working and bathroom didn't have a window)
- no car parking (the hotel have a very small amount of spaces (about 15?) and they are situated in random bays across a big car park - you have to drive round to check if there's a spot free and there probably won't be so it's a waste of time
- good location but noisy at night as it is above bars/restaurants
- breakfast very poor, the 'apple juice' was just water with a tiny bit of juice in it
- didn't really feel the safest at night

Cheap stop over. Nice room and decor. Reception pleasant and great location for the train station and local busses. Loads of local food options until 10pm

Rooms are Extremely hot, had to park on the 12th floor of the parking building as there were no available space in lower areas. Service was good as staffs were kind, polite and understanding. Location is amazing.

This Travelodge is in a good location, free car parking, the only thing that lets it down is the food. We use it every time we travel down to the South of the country to break the journey up.

Perfect for what I needed. The car park/5 mins waiting area is down the side road by the entrance, but there is 15 mins parking out the front. Car park had plenty of space but it's a bit confusing finding the spaces for the Travelodge. Great breakfast, plenty of options and Richards was very lovely.
