I bought a large dog tag at Timpsons in April and had it engraved with phone numbers etc. Six months later the details have worn away (..on fur? How does that happen?) The guy said people brought them back all the time for the same reason. He would not engrave it again unless I paid again. Surely it would be an idea to engrave more deeply if this happens 'all the time'. I need to have an engraved tag by law, but I'll find somewhere else that provides longer lasting quality.

Had some leather stitching done on a pair of Alpinestars motorcycle boots. Spent a week riding all day every day and they?ve held up great. Stitching was blended in with the factory stuff seamlessly.
Would recommend calling ahead prior to leather stitching, the 4 Timpsons prior to this one either didn?t have the right machine, or it was broken.

Lack of common sense.
Have just collected my suit which I had dry cleaned and had buttons repaired on the waistcoat. On taking the suit in I requested new buttons being added to the waistcoat and said there were over two that needed replacing.
On picking up the suit only two buttons have been added and the rest left. I took the suit back to them and they said ?I just assumed you wanted two replaced, not all of them?. They had my mobile number, they could have called me. I asked if there was anyway they could add any additional buttons now and he said it would take a week and a half to add 3 buttons to a waist coat.
Poor service and absolutely no logic applied.

The guy who manned this Timpson was very rude to me when I took my G Shock in for a battery change. I think he wanted to change a crazy amount for a simple battery change. Highly do not recommend this place?
