Fantastic meal. Ordered the set meal for 2. Everything was served hot, fresh and was delicious. Could not fault the staff...very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.
I very rarely give 5 stars, but honestly this restaurant deserved 6!
If you are looking for quality, quantity and value for money....then look no further!

We have been coming here for over 20 years, every time we go to the theatre. The quality has stayed the same - crispy duck to start, crispy shredded beef, char Sui pork, chicken with cashew nuts, rice and vegetable noodles for main, superb.

I rarely give reviews, but today I make an exception! My kids and I just had dinner here....... and the experience was AMAZING ??. From arrival to service, exceptional!!! My kids (who are picky eaters) said this was the best chinese they ever had. Besides the quality of the food, the service was excellent ?. I would definitely recommend and visit again

We ate out here on a business trip as staying close by, Very friendly service, very good quality food, noticeably better than your usual high street takeaway, the restaurant was busy when we visited but still quiet and easy to talk, I would recommend having a meal here if your staying at one of the local hotels

We went for the first time today, it was v.busy, almost exclusively with Oriental people, always a good sign for a Chinese restaurant, service was fast, efficient and friendly, food was fantastic, great flavors, not greasy, and cooked to a very high standard, we had a seafood set menu and there was loads, we had to take some home, absolutely recommend this restaurant

I travel from Leicester several times a year for the absolutely fantastic Dim Sum. A huge range to suit every dietary preference, and I always order extras to bring home.
Attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staff, who are happy to explain the menu, and are always willing to adapt dishes for you.
Prices are very reasonable too, and no matter how large or small your party, they will accommodate you. My favourite UK restaurant.

Had a wonderful meal at Taipan. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. We were visiting MK so sadly this isn't local but I would very much recommend!

I have been coming to eat at the Taipan for 20 years and it's always been consistently excellent. Whilst many other places have come and gone in the Theatre District, this place is always good.
