We ordered a takeaway. It arrived lovely and hot. However, that?s the only positive I can give. The egg fried rice was BOILED rice with some chopped egg thrown in. The chicken balls were soft and stodgy. The batter was very thick and nasty and the chicken inside was tough and chewy like it was rubber. Clearly it was made the the cheapest chicken ever. The special chow mein was tasteless, I mean NO FLAVOUR at all. All the meats were chewy and hard. It was disgusting. We will NEVER eat from here again. I make better Chinese and I am English.

Ordered food from this restaurant at 8.20pm this evening which said we would receive it within half an hour. The time got to 21.20pm and I called the restaurant as the food hadn?t even left for delivery. The person who answered at the restaurant said it was leaving and should be with us in 10 minutes. After 15 minutes I called back again as we still hadn?t received the food. The time was now 21.50pm and deliveroo said the restaurant was shut, so the same man answered saying our food had been taken to oldbrook as part of a just eat order. I said to him we ordered through deliveroo, and he told me it was leaving so how did it just disappear to which he said he was going back to the restaurant to check as they were now closed. Long story short he said the order got cancelled even though it didn?t as it said on my phone it was out for delivery, so we never received food after waiting for over an hour and a half and now we wait to see whether a refund will ever arrive. Avoid at all costs!!!

I don?t know if this place has new owners but whoever it is has now trashed it. You can?t order by phone any more. They?ve gone to the crappest app imaginable and despite creating an account (which I hate) I still couldn?t order anything. Menu has changed and even trying some of the things on there, the order wouldn?t go through. This is the end of years of loving Star Wok. Looking for somewhere else now.

I can honestly say this is the worst Chinese I have had We ordered chicken fried rice egg fried rice abs special fried rice The rice was certainly not fried !! It was plain booked with bits of egg or chicken tossed in It was like eating poor mans food!! The main dishes ku po chicken were again was having kebab sauce poured over the meal Sweet abs sour chicken. Balls were okay but the sauce I believe was watered down Please save your money and do not order from here I will certainly be going back to MR LAW

Ordered our food for delivery at 5:30pm and was given eta of 60mins after 2hrs still nothing. And they finally turned up after 3hrs completely unacceptable and sent them packing. Got full refund from Deliveroo.

I used this on a friends recommendation. The food was amazing really quick service as I just turned up and did not order by phone. This is a superb Chinese Take Away will use again

Having used star wok for a good few years now l can honestly say that the food is always good, hot and on time. Wether we collect it or on occasion have it delivered we only ever have had friendly service and the food is delicious. I can really happily recommend them for good food and fast service always with a lovely smile. Ps, The price is good as well!

No way I'd use this takeaway again. Placed an online order which never turned up. When I called them they insisted it had been delivered. I think they had delivered to the wrong address as I'd been waiting in for over an hour, but they refused to consider this or check the address, or any of my details. They also refused to redeliver or refund the order so I was left both hungry and out of pocket, and the guy at the takeaway was incredibly rude. Sadly I cannot comment on the food as I never got to taste it even though they had already received full payment for it.

False advertising....... Ordered a set menu for 2 advertised at £23 on their website. Charged £25....... When I said about it would not honour the difference and cancelled my order......... It only took a..........so sorry.....we overlooked the website when we had new menus printed..... Thank you for pointing it out..... And please have your order for the advertised price... And we will update our website immediately ...... As we know tit is illegal to false advertise..

Possibly one of Milton Keynes best kept (takeaway) secrets. This extremely good-value Chinese takeaway provides speedy service, delicious food and free delivery. There are no added 'nasties' to the food and it is clear by the taste. We ordered a family meal of 5 main dishes, rice, noodles and soup and had change from £30. They have a telephone recognition service so there is no need to repeat your address every time (yes, we have ordered here quite a few times!) and they promise to deliver within the hour, but often it is within 20 minutes. Tasty, reliable and affordable. Highly recommended food and service.
