Great place to shop

Waited 20 minutes in a long queue for customer service to make a return at the tobacco desk. No dedicated customer service desk as it was closed months ago and only 1 staff member at the desk. You would think when a big queue develops the staff would call for assistance to reduce waiting time but no.

No scan as you shop handsets on arrival. Asked a colleague for help, told to go and speak to customer services. Waited in the que to be told to wait a few minutes for handsets, as they sorted it. Weighing scales for fruit a veg not working, when I asked a colleague for help, was told to go and use a different one, which also didn't work.
They must no longer be doing mystery shopper scheme in store based on good customer service, which used to be bonus scheme incentive for colleagues, as customer service was terrible and received no forthcoming help.

Since they got rid of the fresh fish, meat and the deli counter and also the cake counter and the café and also a number of tills it has gone downhill, they are always constantly changing things around of which is annoying and can confuse people, especially the senior citizens and some of the staff look scruffy and deshevled and some members of staff look just plain miserable and some members of staff don't even look physically fit enough to work there and some staff look like they don't want to be there, if this forseable trend continues, just to save themselves money, than Sainsbury's will be driving their customers right into the arms of the competition, if that's what Sainsbury's want of course and they always seem to be running out of certain products, IE, fruit and veg, toiletries, pasta, fresh meat and poultry and have also stopped selling extra strong tea bags, just recently, this particular Sainsbury's seems to be on a course of total and utter destruction and when the destruction comes and when it hits Sainsbury's, than they will realise it and by then it will be far too late and just visited recently Sainsbury's (cmk) have just got rid of more tills, just to save money, it is simply a matter of time, before Sainsbury's go out of business and they will be the architects of their own downfall and also the security guards are either there trying to do their job or on their mobile phones chatting to someone, instead of doing their job looking out for shoplifters, if the security guards are not doing their job properly, than maybe Sainsbury's should hire some security guards, who will do their job properly and it always seems to take Sainsbury's a hell of a long time to get anything fixed the travlator or the ladies and gents toilets and sometimes I get the impression that the security guards do have a big attitude problem of which needs to be sorted out quickly, otherwise they will find out the hard way, of which is 1) not everyone is a shoplifter and pays for their items, 2) if they put their hands on a person without their permission they can be done for assault and also end up losing their job as well.

The supermarket's offerings are of excellent quality, encompassing food and clothing, and are available at competitive prices. The store maintains a well-stocked and clean environment. Furthermore, it provides accessible parking facilities for wheelchair users.
