Couldn't collect parcel. No tracking number left on note, and the old man behind the counter was rude and unhelpful, saying it wasn't on his system, when he didn't even take my details. He didn't even try. What is he being paid for?Seriously, I cannot get over the rudeness. Its one thing to not have my parcel, that isn't the staffs fault, but it's another to be short and rude and not look on the computer system.

They shut and open when they want and lie about everything. My parcel was in the shop but the post office guy had gone home early. They told me and everyone else coming in that the system was down but after questioning the guy behind the counter his lies unfolded. Wish I read these reviews before. Didn't realise it was so bad. You don't expect this at a post office. This was Saturday afternoon 1 hour before closing. Said I have to wait till Monday. Disgraceful

I wanted to post a letter tracked, but I didn?t mind if it took several days to arrive. The lady did not inform me properly of the available options and insisted that it should be sent as guaranteed 1pm delivery which costed 8 times more than the cheapest alternative. Horrible service. They lied to get higher payment. Never again!

My elderly mum uses this post office quite a lot to withdraw money and sometime in the last couple of months they've given her one of the old paper £10 notes which went out of circulation in 2018!!! We can say with absolute confidence that she didn't receive it elsewhere because she only withdraws money to pay to her gardener, hair dresser and cleaner, for regular shopping she always uses a debit card. This isn't the first time this post office has pulled a fast one, quite some time ago and possibly the previous owner she was also given a fake £20 note. Personally I think this needs looking into by Head Office, my mum is 84 so she didn't even know she'd been caught out until she tried paying her hair dresser with the old £10. Poor woman, obviously she was quite embarrassed by the whole ordeal. Of course now we have the inconvenience of having to travel to a bank to exchange the note, presumably the staff at this post office couldn't be bothered to do it themselves! Not happy....

I often use their postal services when I can?t get to city centre. In two occasions i sent a letter and was never received or got to destination. And that was important documents too. The older man was lovely and polite The other once a rude and not customer oriented.

Would give it zero stars! Went in after the PO closing time and fair enough the hours are listed but it?s literally a few seconds inconvenience for the guy to take my small parcel and give me a receipt. I said I understand the timing only to be called selfish. Wow! You call your customers selfish. I laughed as I don?t know how I would?ve reacted if I did take him too seriously. Royal Mail gotta retrain their staff on the basics! Especially the short one with glasses. Was reluctant to use before. Will be avoiding at all costs now.

I wish i could give this 0 stars I?ve come to this post office 3 times so far as the local post office was closed. All 3 times got treated unprofessionally. I came with a prepaid parcel and he told me it?s with a different currier even after I showed him the email clearly showing royal mail. Tonight I went there again with a parcel 15 minutes before closing time. When he saw the parcel he started shaking his hands and head saying ?no no, it?s closed? i said no you?re not, you?re open another 15 min till 22.00. He said the post office closes at 9. As soon as I walked out the shop he got off his chair and started closing the shop up. What an unpleasant man I?ll never go back there

Very rude member of staff. Told him my parcels were prepaid online and he asked me why I'd done that... I replied "makes it easier for you guys" to which he laughed and said "it doesn't". Seemed like he really didn't want to take my parcels and made it look like a massive efforr. Started talking to his colleague in another language. Pretty sure he was talking about me. Nobody else in there was wearing a face mask and were not challenged by the staff. Very scruffy looking shop/post office. Will never visit again and will be informing the post office of my experience.

AWFUL SERVICE! Constantly changes the post office times to whenever suits them best, lies and talks down on you. Will be contacting the Royal Mail. Do not go if you wish to be spoken to like rubbish and lied to! Disgusting store and staff. 0 stars

Do not post parcels here. Staff made me wait for 10 mins until they served everyone else in the shop, despite me queuing myself. He then charged me for tracked delivery which i didn?t want, and then refused to take the sticker off the parcel so i had no choice but to pay. Laughed in my face when I told him to pay more attention to what customers ask for in future. Never leave google reviews but these guys take the absolute piss

Never have i been into a post office and -1. Had someone eating their dinner ( curry ) and trying to serve me at the same time.2. Been spoken to so rudely.3. Literally had a parcel thrown back at me.4. Not been able to understand one word that came out of their mouth as their English was that bad.Safe to say that i will never in my lifetime be stepping another foot in side this post office.
