When we arrived it was quite empty and lots of staff behind the bar area, but it still took a long time for anyone to come seat us despite them having seen us. Then the place was actually really filthy I only noticed after I ate that the floor beneath was covered in food, used napkins and cutlery. The food was decent, as expected from pizza express.

For the Xscape Pizza Express, Today we arrived at the door at 3:30pm (They were not totally busy) and waited 20 minutes. Then wouldn?t be let in when there was so many tables free. no explanation given. real bad attitude with person who looks like manger at the entrance. Poor service, very rude manager, not welcoming at all. We would never visit again and the worst experience ever.

Another visit to a different Pizza Express in Milton Keynes. My little one and I had a great experience here. We were served by Celine, she was amazing. Even she was the only waitress during the lunch hour, Celine never got flustered and showed total dedication and commitment to her duties and treated everyone to the same high standard of service.
Moreover, I really appreciate the help of the Manager, Carlene, to resolve the check in problem on the app.
Last but not least, the food was absolutely lovely. We definitely will back again in the not too distant future.

Waiter was friendly and nice but I've ordered a pizza an hour ago and it still hasn't arrived if I could I would give service a zero I'm pretty sure the area is under staffed

It?s a shame because the waitress was really helpful, nice and cheery but I was given the wrong plate of food, the meatball cannelloni I originally ordered eventually turned up after everyone else at my table had finished theirs, so ?express? they definitely ain?t and that didn?t have any meatballs in it and a tiny spider crawled out of my salad. Then to top it off they tried to charge me for the meal they brought out to me which wasn?t mine and they turned down my veterans discount.
What an awful experience.
Never again.

Arrived at 18.40. MK Xscape.Waited 15 minutes to be told only taking bookings. Short staffed.
Went online and booked for 19.30 (as also heard that CMK having staffing issues). Went back for table. Got seated. Slow service, chasing half order while eating main. Food good. Whilst at table noticed someone just helping themselves to a table without checking in.
Advised lead person who went over and took their order! No booking and about 6 of them.????
Won't be attending a Pizza Express or promoting them anytime soon based on the latter. As should not be turning away people when feel like it and to let people rock up when they do.
Also had manager advise to contact her via email. No response and been a week. Do not take seriously of bad reviews. ?

Booked a table for 4 of us for 6:45 this evening and arrived a few mins before our booked time
Straightaway we could see that although it wasn?t fully booked, the restaurant was busy and appeared to only have two serving staff and possibly the manager working on the floor too
After waiting a few minutes, a member of staff came and spoke to us and explained that she had to clear a table for us, which she went off to do. She then led us to a table and gave us some menus.
It then took approx 15 mins before someone came to take our order. The young lady was very polite and apologised for the delay, but frustratingly she firstly took the order of the family next to us, who were seated AFTER we were!
Our food was very slow to come out. Approximately 30+ mins. The food itself was very nice - we had 3 pizzas, one lasagne and a variety of items to share for starters
I had forgotton it?s still half term, and there were a lot of young children in the restaurant, which made it extremely noisy (I accept this is no one?s fault) and I could see a lot of food waste on the floor by high chairs where the rubbish had all sadly been left by families for the poor staff to clear up! (Why do people think this is okay?!)
Unfortunately there was one particular couple with two very young children sat at a table nearby. I can honestly say that they youngest did not stop screaming for the two hours we were in the restaurant. To say we could barely hear each other talk is not an exaggeration. The pitch went right through us and resonated around the restaurant. Sadly the parents clearly thought this was acceptable and did nothing to console the poor child except eventually try and force a dummy in the mouth despite the child trying to spit it out. Babies and young children get bored in this type of environment and clearly the youngest was really tired and just needed to be at home. None of this is the staff?s fault but it did definitely spoil the evening, as conversation with friends was difficult and the whole restaurant was affected by this screaming child - clearly the parents were oblivious
The two staff and what we suspect was the manager were working incredibly hard on the floor, serving and clearing tables etc .. but they were obviously rushed off their feet and understaffed. As well as us, others were waiting for bills, to place order etc
Certainly wouldn?t rush back again? although the food was lovely. Maybe a different day the experience could have been very different

I had an amazing dining experience at Pizza Express at Xscape Milton Keynes! Dorota was my server, and she was incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind. She made sure everything was perfect for me. The food was absolutely delicious, thanks to Noor, the talented chef. Every dish was cooked to perfection! Plus, the rewards program significantly reduced my bill, which was a fantastic bonus. Highly recommend this place for a great meal and excellent service!

We ate here this evening. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was nice and fresh, the chef brought it to our table. He was also very nice and friendly. Great set of staff in tonight. They are a great asset to your business. Thanks for a nice meal and experience
