Absolutely shockingly bad. Staff are rude, lazy and don't do their jobs. Stood around doing nothing, give attitude and no type of customer service whatsoever. Everytime I've been in the last few months, the staff have been useless, letting queues build up which block the rest of the shop off from other customers. Absolutely rubbish since the shop was taken over by a new group of people, such a shame as the old staff were so lovely and helpful. They've run it right into the ground and I am appalled by the behaviour of the staff. then they have the nerve to ask you to leave them a good review on the way out!!

Used to be my favourite local shop. Must have changed hands as the last few times I've been the staff have been so rude and unprofessional. One lady in particular is always rude and talks on the phone or to colleagues through the whole interaction about personal matters. As a retail worker I never mind colleagues being friends and enjoying themselves at work, but you still have to do your job, and when you're spending so much time chatting and not serving people the queue builds up quickly.
Such a shame because the staff used to be lovely and friendly and efficient, but now they don't seem to know what they're doing and are always stood chatting. And I have no qualms with colleagues chatting, as long as they're also doing their job. Again, this is from my pov as someone who works in retail and delivers customer service. I would never ignore a customer or make them wait so I can finish gossiping with a colleague as a queue of 5+ people builds. And i don't mind waiting in line at all when a shop is busy, but when you can see people waiting and decide to finish your personal conversation first that's just not on.

Sadly the post office has been moved to the front of the store, along with the efficient post office staff, I waited in a queue of 3 people for 27 minutes.

The staff isn't very well-trained, but they are polite. One positive change is that the Post Office has been integrated with the till, and the impolite ladies are no longer there. The new lady is competent and very pleasant.

This store has very friendly, helpful staff - both at the Post Office counter and at the standard cash till. There are sometimes queues for the Post Office and the shop is compromised by a lack of space. It stands out as one of the best local shops in the area though.

This is my local store and post office of choice. Friendly, helpful staff. Sometimes the post office queues are long and it's worth driving to Netherfield.
