I had such a fantastic service today, by Ignas. I came to the store in such a panic, due to my phone not working. Ignas gave me such a fantastic service, talking through everything with me, calming me and giving such a better deal. I was in such a flutter and the calmness and giving me what I needed was just perfect. Thank you!!

This review is exclusively for Harrison at the O2 Milton Keynes store and definitely not for their customer service, which was abysmal. Having had an issue with lost mobile signal (eSim problem) and impossible to contact O2, as they want to send a verification text to a phone that is not receiving a signal before offering assistance; virtual chat useless, and even when I was put through to a real person by lying and saying I wish to cancel contract - but subsequently cut off. No sensible response from Twitter (x) or Messenger either. My only option was to interupt my day and travel to the store. I was ready to launch my handset at this point but Harrison was amazing. He instantly knew what the problem was; calmed me down and promptly sorted it - which was no major problem, just a sim card change. Harrison you are wasted at O2 - you are destined for better things. Thank you so much.

O2?s Switch Up Scheme ? Stuck Paying for Two Phones Due to Admin Failures
I?ve been an O2 customer for years, but my experience with their Switch Up upgrade programme has been frustrating beyond belief. I used Switch Up to upgrade from a Google Pixel Fold to a Pixel 9 Pro. My old phone was returned but rejected due to a cracked screen, which I immediately had professionally repaired via my insurance (Assurant).
Since then, I?ve been trying for months to return the repaired device and complete the trade-in ? but I?ve fallen into an administrative black hole. The original return order was closed by O2, and no one has been able to re-open or restart it. I?ve contacted customer service, visited the store (waited over 2 hours), emailed multiple departments, and even escalated the issue through two official complaints, but I?ve been passed from team to team with no resolution.
The result? I?ve now been charged for two phones for nearly a year ? the new device and the old one that I?ve been trying to return all along. O2 has offered £250 in goodwill credits across both complaints, but they?ve never fixed the root problem. I still have the original phone, still can?t return it, and still get charged monthly.
The Communications Ombudsman upheld my complaint, confirming that I acted appropriately and that O2 failed to follow its own terms. However, since this involves a loan agreement, I?ve now been forced to take the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
This isn?t about one mistake ? it?s about months of missed deadlines, broken promises, and no ownership from O2. I?ve acted in good faith, provided all the evidence, and used their services exactly as intended. Yet I?m the one left chasing a solution, out of pocket, and exhausted.
If you're considering using O2?s Switch Up ? think twice. It?s not the service they promise, and when something goes wrong, you?re left to fight your way through their system alone.

Not impressed, been a Vodafone customer for years and I'm currently trying to switch to a new contract. Walked in and felt like it was an inconvenience that I was there, not one person cracked a smile. Left without getting a new phone due to feeling like this! Will be visiting another store.

I have been a customer for approximately 12 years + although the staff have changed I have always found them to be polite, helpful, and patient. I don't know if I would go anywhere else.

I had serious problems getting into my emails up and running TBH
everything was all over the place and really confusing.
I was put in touch with Seb at the Milton Keynes branch and I have to say this Gentleman was patient apart from being ultra knowledgeable
Seb spent a considerable time working out the whole problem and would not give up until everything was solved and my emails up and running.
Success! Now all sorted thanks to Seb.

I would not hesitate .
O2 must be Greatful for having such a Star as Seb on their Team.

I would like to personally thank Courtney at the O2 shop at the city centre Milton Keynes. I have unfortunately had a couple of issues to do with the Recycle and another team outside of the store. Courtney resolved both of these quickly and efficiently. She is professional, friendly and so helpful. She communicated at all times and resolved the issues. The best customer service I have received and feel she deserves a special mention. Thank you Courtney.
