I really enjoy shopping at Lidl, and it has become one of my favorite supermarkets. The first thing I notice every time I go in is how affordable everything is without sacrificing quality. Their fruit and vegetables are always fresh, and the prices are much better compared to other stores. I also love the bakery section?there?s nothing better than walking in and smelling the fresh bread and pastries. The croissants and rolls are my go-to, and they taste just as good as something from a local bakery.
One of the best things about Lidl is the weekly specials. I never know what I?ll find, and it makes shopping a bit more fun. I?ve picked up great deals on snacks, seasonal treats, and even non-food items like kitchen gadgets and home essentials. It feels like there?s always something new to try.
The store itself is easy to navigate, which makes shopping quick and stress-free. The staff are always polite and helpful, and the checkout is usually fast, which is a big plus. Overall, Lidl is a place where I know I?ll get good value for my money, and I actually look forward to going there each week.

Popped in here literally 1 hour ago just to grab a pizza and ice cream with my 2 children with me age 7 and 9, my eldest being autistic.
Within about 5 minutes of entering the shop the security guard was following us up every aisle making my eldest very uncomfortable.
After about 20min we got to check out and I Paid for the pizza and ice cream? guess who?s waiting, the checkout lady even admitted it was weird i what I described was true. I was asked to remove items that didn?t belong to the store out of my pockets, then when I questioned him on his behaviour he became very rude and told me not to come back if i don?t like it!
I understand security have a job to do but remaining professional and respectful to customers is important I would have thought? not victimising someone just because the way they look isn?t!
The facts that this was in front of my two young children made this even worse!
Nice place but you need a better security guard.

Was stopped & asked to be searched 3 times within the span of 2 months by the same ?security guard? , every time i shop he wanders & stares at me, making me very uncomfortable.
Totally embarrassing every time i was stopped & asked to be searched, and was threatened to have the police called if I refused.
The person I?m talking about is the asian male, mid-40s, 5?7. Wears a bright green vest.
Been coming here for over a year, multiple times a week. Never have stolen anything, am always polite to the staff.

Dregs of society here...and I was raised council estate. Also just 2 working the tills at weekend with queues of people.
