Great shop! Had been only ever shopping at ALDI for the past 5 years. The only time I shopped at Lidl was when I'm travelling in EU, but I decided to try Lidl in United Kingdom. Bakery section wasn't as hygienic, as in the EU bakery sections they have a protective cover and tongs so no toddler can touch the food. The prices at Lidl seemed to be the same as Aldi, but the food at Lidl was better quality. I found a caterpillar on the broccoli, which is a good sign.

Woman cashier with glasses and brown hair named Shannon had a foul attitude towards us when we were buying a common product. I am very disappointed by this experience and would hope that Lidl resolves this issue as soon as possible.

Clean well managed store

Had a very uncomfortable visit at this store today where I was pretty much accused of stealing some shopper bags because they looked 'new' The security guard asked if I had the receipt for the bags, which I didn't because A. I don't tend to keep the receipt for a £1.75 bag with me at all times when I go shopping B. My wife had bought me the bag on a shop at a different store. Not sure why I would buy a whole load of shopping, only to try and steal a cheap bag. I usually shop at the Brooklands store, and this was the first time coming to this one. To be honest, put me off coming back to any store because the security guard was rude. If they had bothered checking their cameras, they would have seen me walking from my car in their carpark to the store and put the bags in the trolley. Lidl on price, Lidl on customer service.

Good stock of a decent variety. Nice efficient staff. Now that the new, larger store is open, there is obviously more choice at very competitive prices.

Very rude staff. Had a bad experience with them this evening. They could have given instructions in a more polite way.
I?ve been purchasing from here for the past few years, and this is the first time I?ve had such an issue. Very disappointing ? I never expected this from here. Please instruct the staff to behave politely with customers.
