Got the job done, but far from the best customer experience to be honest. Booked in for 9am. Admittedly I was 5 mins late, but the work didn't even get started until near 10.It's a real pity as Sophie (aside from.getting my name wrong), who took my initial call, was excellent.

When I dropped my car off for an MOT and service, the team were understaffed due to sickness. I was not a happy customer but Matt talked me through the issue and offered a couple of solutions. By the end of the day he and the team had pulled out all the stops for me and got everything done? well done for turning the situation around Matt - thank you.

I can't rate the team here highly enough. We discovered a fault with my car the day before we were due to go on holiday. We wouldn't have been able to go if we hadn't got it fixed.It was a Sunday and this was the only garage we were able to find open and they jumped through hoops to squeeze us in and get me back on the road. Great team, thank you.

I would say this is a ridiculous company and terrible service system. I booked the time, tires and this garage to fit online. When I arrived, I was told they can't do it because all the time was blocked. No one informed me before I came. It seems like my booking online was just for fun. I won't ask for any service under this company.By the way, I still got my tires changed after some arguments.Service: Tires

After a tyres change and a wheels alignment with them my car start's pulling right very much...Tyres well done but wheels alignment perfect job ? i have to book on another place to sort it out.

Book car for 2 tyres and tracking for Sunday at 3pm, turn up and was told that they can't fit me in, and to bring the car Tuesday for the whole day and they would see what they could do, I dropped off on Tuesday at 8am, and was called at lunchtime to say they replaced the tyres, but didn't do the tracking because they couldn't undo a nut (too tight?). Told I woukd be refunded the tracking, although invoice makes zero mention of this, I have had to separately contact customer service.Clearly not able to do simple tasks other than the most basic, badly managed garage.Not sure what point of booking if they can't manage what cars they are doing.Never go to this garage, it's not efficient, and the halfords branding shoukd not be relied on.

Phoned on Saturday morning (15th July 23). Phone rang for twenty mins before someone answered. I said hi, could I book my car in for fuse box to be checked, as car is unsafe to drive (blower not working). An unsympathetic voice said. "You can book for 3 weeks time, we dont have the staff". Not to worry, teld Formula One. Booked in for coming Tuesday. Message to Halfords "dont have stressed mechanics answering phone calls", ......will lose you lots of potential NEW AND REPEAT customers.

Online booking for an 11.30 appointment (2 new front tyres + wheel alingnment). Arrived early only to be told it would be 2 - 3 hrs as they were short staffed and I should have had a phone call the night before warning me (no phone call). Car finally ready at around 2.10 only to be told they couldn't do the wheel alignment as they don't have the equipment to do cars that have 'lane assist'. Not happy. I had to cancel my plans for the afternoon. And why does the online booking system let you book and pay for something they can't do.3 days on and still waiting for refund on the wheel alignment not carried out. Would definitely not recommend Milton Keynes Halfords Autocentre.

Went for a free Aircon check. Part of my freebies from Halfords Motoring club (I also have the free membership level). The check was successful in that the system was sound but no gas left. I opted for an immediate gas refil. Ian, even reminded me that I had a money off voucher as part of my motoring membership, which he located and used to knock down the gas price (£104 for "new style" gas). He then offered to do my free 10 point check (also part of my membership). Passed with flying colours after topping up my windscreen wash and advising that a tyre needed changing in about 2-3 months based on current usage. Extremely efficient, customer focused, friendly and helpful. Well done Halfords, Rooksley, Milton Keynes, and Ian in particular.

Unfortunately I can not recommend. Booked and paid for a remote tyre fitting which nobody ever turned up to do. So wasted an entire day for nothing.

Always use Halfords for my replacement tyres and parts. Always great service and quality of work.I got 4 new tyres last month and when one started to lose air the manager Ade said to bring it in and they had a look at it straight away. I have driven over a large screw which was still in the tyre. As I am a regular customer they repaired the tyre straight away and I was on my way. Great customer service from Ade and the team, I will be returning again and highly recommend. Many thanksService: Tires

Visited multiple times due to concern over possible issue with my car's steering.On the first occasion, I was told there was nothing wrong that can be identified.About 2 weeks later I had various warning lights pop up hence another visit. This time I was told I needed my wheel bearing changed.On my third visit to get the above changed, I was told that my wheel bearings were 'pristine' and that nothing needed to be changed. I was even asked who it was that had made the recommendation! More waste of time and petrol, I drove the car back without anything done. I am concerned over how professional they actually are if the opinions differ that much.Later had MOT and service done (not sure why I still bother to come here!). 10 days later my car couldn't start. Called as finding it strange to breakdown after having recently been serviced and had MOT. Was unhelpful over the phone and the only offer was to book me in for a diagnostic for 49.99.I have been to Halfords before elsewhere but this branch seems to have more room for improvement.

I have a company car and they book me with Halfords for two front tyres replace. I had the booking at 9 AM. I arrived at probably 5 to 9AM and they said to come back in 1h30min. When I return was nothing done as my car was just admitted inside the garage. So I took the car and left. Frustrating experience. What is the point of booking.Service: Tires
