Customer service was lacking! I was left waiting for a pair of shoes for 15 mins, even when I was the only person on the shop floor, then a different person served me and showed no expression or emotion whatsoever it seemed like he wanted to go home. Once I received the pair of shoes I then went to till where 2 members of staff were having a social chat with no care in the world, I asked them if they were serving as their colleague on the till was struggling with a customer but the response from them both was that I needed to wait in line however one employee then chose to serve me as she did though she proceeded to call me rude and started arguing with me. When the employee finished serving me on the till and passed the receipt over to me which I collected off her in a normal way she said ?ouch? as to insinuate I hurt her in some way which was totally uncalled for! As I proceeded to walk out of the store her colleague was giving me the evils and said I need learn to some manners which quite frankly was unfair considering how the both of them treated me.

Popped in looking for a waterproof coat that packs into itself for cycling. The store is genuinely well stocked ? plenty of great brands and options across every department. Unfortunately, customer service seems to have packed itself away too.
Went upstairs to the bike section, only to be sent back downstairs where a member of staff pointed vaguely at a wall of hundreds of coats and then disappeared. Faced with a forest of jackets and no help at all, I turned around and left.
Customer service should be offered, not requested. Great brands, well stocked, but uninterested staff limit sales.

All go outdoors were created equal. But some go outdoors were created more equal than others.
Our cashier, Lynn, met us with a glass full of charisma, charm and wanderlust. I was already excited to treck the far outreaches of the Scottish landscape, where Burns and Wainwright had stepped before me. After Lynn's enthusiasm and knowledge of quality camping gear, I could barley wait to jump back in the Volvo and steam ahead to The NORTH. After this experience I will only be shopping at the Milton Keynes Gooutdoors for my luxury hiking goods.
Lynn, we will be raising a glass of buckfast to your wit and recommendations of thermal layering as we ponder the outstanding natural beauty of Glencoe.

I've visited this store twice in the last month due to their competitively priced sale items. On both occasions I have picked up a strong vibe that the staff would rather be somewhere else. When I looked over to a huddle of 3 staff members for help they all looked away. There was no focus on helping me, I had to chase one to give me her time and the store wasn't even busy. In addition to this she gave off a strong smell of body odour and her attitude was very off putting. Never tut at a customer when they have been polite to you! The management need to do better because I'm clearly not the first person to have been met with such rude 'customer service'. I would like to add that I was served at the til by staff with a better attitude.
Another point I would like to make is that I was refused a National Trust discount on my first purchase and told I couldn't use it on sale items. However, on my 2nd visit I was given the discount on a different sale item. Please can you train your staff to be consistent as I paid a lot of money for a pair of walking boots and feel that I should have been given the NT discount!

Forgot my Go Outdoors card today, Till operator at Milton Keynes, nosily refused to let me use another customers card. I suppose with minimum wage comes minimum power.
