Stopped recycling compost bags, don?t bother mentioning it on their website. Cafe pretty dismal, staff at checkout quite rude. Would avoid.

We have to say we do love coming to Dobbies but really feel the cafe seating area let's the side down. After purchasing our drinks & food we then had to really look for a clean table without any cups/saucers/plates. This is very off putting & wouldn't take long to clear, I thought having a junior could be your answer & having trolleys that are emptied regularly) Firstly I tried to put our tray on the trolley, but this was full so then had to leave them on a table. I wanted to bring a group of girlfriends for afternoon tea but I'm put off but my last two visits. You are losing business.

Popped into dobbies to have my fish pond water tested and ended up buying 2 more koi carps! The young man had so much patience trying to catch the particular fish I wanted. Ge was so polite and very knowledgeable. Thankyou. Sorry I have forgotten his name.

Very nice garden centre. Got some spinach plants and seeds. Seeds were a decent price, and spinach was on sale, so that was good. Also got some compost which was a decent price. I was looking for a cucumber plant which they didn?t have, but that was definitely my fault for trying to find it so late in the year.

On 13.07 .25 at 13:37 .Tables in the caffee outside the were all dirty. But was only 1 table in use. We ask to eat something outside as we had two dogs , but we couldnt. Only food from Cafe?. What different that makes. So we could set inside but not outside?!
Coffee so weak its like water. I think for £3.2 we cant get a good coffee.
Two basic sandwichs £9
Customer service was very poor. Worst since i been here. Wont be returning on a rush.
Plants expensive.

3 stars for restaurant, scrambled eggs on toast awful ? how are you meant to butter the toast when the egg is on it, would be easier to butter it before serving.. a big disappointment.

nicest jacket potato and iced latte i?ve EVER had!!! staff were so lovely and accommodating, provided takeaway options on food. was quite busy at lunch but food still came quick! the shop is also lovely stocked with everything you could think of. parking is free for as long as you need so you can spend lots of time mooching around this lovely garden centre. 1000000/10

We went to the restaurant, and they had 2 no shows for staff and everyone was waiting to be served ages. Both ordering the food and it arriving...and then sausages were burnt....doh!!!
The stars were for the awesome man who was making the drinks and the lovely lady that was parachuted into help out in the restaurant having already workes in other areas. It seems she went where needed. She was so kind and really lovely to my two sons, taking the time to talk to them and help settle them.
The girl on the checkout was grumpy!!!

Unfortunately dobbies was very bad today waiting for us to be seated no one at the desk to even speak to us to even tell us what is going on. My wife had to go and find someone to ask, only to be told you have to wait until a table is free for hot food service. Well there were about 6 tables free that needed to be cleared but was not. It was like all the did was bring out food and not clear up. Bad service Unfortunately and I am also a member at dobbies. Wouldn't recommend the restaurant at all also the food not very great coffee was not even hot just warm. Dnt think I will go back again and even think of cancelling my membership.

Had breakfast this morning at the cafe absolutely terrible scabby bit of bacon sausage was burnt to a crisp offerd us a replacement sausages but took over 15min this is the worst breakfast I've ever had if I could put a photo on they offered a refund on our tea this should have never been brought out to us

My wife and I took my daughter to dobbies the other day. I walked into the restaurant section so I could give my daughter her snacks. A young woman watched me place my daughter in a high chair then walked over to ask if I was ordering anything. I responded my wife was already at the counter getting tea and cake. The woman then proceed to say if you not ordering anything then you have to be in the cafe side then walks off. She was rude.litterly there's a rope devider to both sections. What was the harm in us being in the restaurant section rather than the cafe section. There was barely anyone on either side. No wounder why they are always quiet if they are that pedantic.
