Truly awful - just avoid if you can.
Fish is dry and left out. Won?t cook fresh even if you ask.
Staff then ignore you for asking, really would stay clear

Cancelled my order after an 1.5hrs of ordering it due to an item being unavailable. Why not contact me and just refund that item or offer an alternative?
This has happened twice now. They also wait to cancel the order when they close so they don?t have to deal with an unhappy customer.

I use to always get my chips here, but now they're hugely overpriced, tiny servings and mostly cold. Such a shame as this was once a good place...probably won't go back.

A big disappointment really!
We used to love coming here for the good service and fish & chips they have.
We went today because we wanted to treat our family to the delicious fish and chips we have been raving about the last couple of years. However, as we entered the shop, and placed our order, I was shocked that a senior fish and chips costed more than a standard fish and chips (for a smaller portion). We were then told the shop is under new management. I raised the issue with the person behind the till, and said this doesn't make sense.. So they kindly refunded the order and we ordered all as their £6.99 offer, which we have had for the last couple of years. We were expecting the same result this time, But as we opened our boxes, it was apparent things were different? The chips and fish were soggy, there was too much oil in the takeaway boxes. Chips clearly soaked in oil and a shrivelled up battered fish. A huge disappointment.

Great fish and chips, only slight concern was oil is alittle darkin which fish is cooked. Chips oil looked very clean. Could be due to the oil used maybe.
