I would have put zero but the lowest is one. I'm a regular customer in the Emerson valley store and always find the staff to be friendly and helpful. But I'm sorry to say that on this occasion it was terrible. I was served by a man/boy who has a ponytail.. I asked for a bag and this was just thrown on the counter at me also the lottery ticket that I purchased was just thrown on the counter too. He came across very rude and arrogant. He needs some training on customer service that's if he knows what that is. I think he has an Australian accent by the sound of he's voice . I very disappointing visit. Also as the co-op has had problems with cyber attacks and members personal data taken you would think they would want their customers/ members to come back?? This isn't the way to do it!!!! I'm a retail store manager myself so I know what good customer looks like and sadly I didn't recognise it at all from this person!!

Have shopped here for many years, first time going late due to needing something urgently. Looked online and it stated that the shop was open until 11pm. Left my house at 10:50 arrived at 10:57. Shutters were down but I saw customers leaving so went to the doors, but they were on on way, when another customer left I went to go in through the open door at 10:58 but was stopped by a member of staff saying they were closed! I explained it wasn?t 11 yet and I literally needed to grab one thing, which I knew where it was and would take 30 seconds if that! But they still refused to let me in!
If you advertise that you are open until 11pm then you should be open until 11pm. Not just before, luckily I managed to find another shop that was open to get the one item I needed, but the co op is my local. My husband was with me and works in retail so telling me it?s because of the tills is a complete lie, the staff just wanted to be done rather then help a loyal customer out when you?re still meant to be open! You have now lost a customer that shopped with you daily. Very disappointed.

Use to have fresh bakery, bread and pastries, but they stopped it so we go to another local shop now.

Nice staff very friendly but fridge with beer switch off many time warm beer is not nice expectly if warm or hot day after whole day at work

On my visit on 27th May 2023 some of the staff was extremely rude. Making inappropriate suggestions, then turning back on me after I pointed it out. Co-op was let down by this employee. It's sad that one rogue person can make so lasting negative impression on the whole company.

It has plenty, especially what you expect from a co-op.The only issue here is the parking area is really dark as there seems to be no lighting.Many will always park in the disabled bays, to use the Chinese takeaway.
