CeX is just such a time waster. With the amount of money the take off the things you sell and the markup over the items that you buy you'd think you get something in return right? No, untested items that don't work and have mismatched subwoofers, wasting time going back and forth to stores, and then taking orders online only to cancel them 3 days later after being guaranteed that they would ship it.
I'm never going to use CeX again.

Worst CeX location ever. The cues are absurdly long because the people working here take forever to actually serve customers, even when they have no staff shortages. The workers themselves usually look dirty and look like they don't bath very often. And they refuse to accept games, supposedly because the discs are scratched, even when they actually work just fine. Avoid this place at all costs.

Took a brand new Pair of samsung earbuds to the location never opened and all of a sudden after testing they have a scratch on them. Good for cex to fleece people after they haven't been touched by anyone else. Avoid taking anything to this place to sell. Worst service ever and over heard the staff arguing with a customer about a refund. Avoid like the plague. One star is the lowest I can give. Customer service shocking, accountability zero

Sent an item to be tested and eventually sold. Told it would take 2 hours however was a Drop & Go so I didn't have to wait around. They then proceeded to take 2 days to test the item only to then tell me the power supply didn't work. When I got home, tried the same power supply and worked like a charm.

Long waiting time due to bad management of human resource available.
Their crap website displayed 2 in stock for the item I was looking to buy in that particular store.
But when I eventually got to the tail the person in front of me was too bored to have a proper look for the item requested and said something like, sorry but I can?t seem to find it now. Can?t help you.
Horrible experience overall.

What is the point of having a number you can contact if its only automated, doesn't give you the chance to speak to a human and hangs up on you in less then a minute! Useless!!
