It?s is supposed to be a charity shop but as others have said they are not willing to take anything that isn?t pristine. No one is donating new furniture??? Why do you ask for photos then ignore the photos waste time and money sending people out and then refuse to collect them. The team you use are lovely but it?s not ok for you to expect a standard that wont exist. There are people out there in need of functional future and you are depriving them then of that even though you could sell it for a smaller amount. Either you want to make money for a charity or you don?t. I could understand you refusing items that don?t work but a mark on a table??? Absolute joke

The team at Age UK Milton Keynes have been amazing, contacted the staff who immediately got me a date for collection at my convenience, the driver rang me 30mins in advance of turning up, when they arrived they where so friendly, polite and took great care removing the furniture, amazing service and highly recommend x5 ??

Wasn?t aware this place done new furniture as well as pre-loved. Popped in and saw Kelly who showed me what they had. Was very helpful and showed us all the options to pick our sofa. Made to order and was delivered in 6 weeks. Got it at a great price as well. So happy with it.

I recently purchased a sofa from here. Delivered on time and excellent condition. Friendly staff and the two gentlemen who delivered both work on a voluntary basis and it was a Saturday.
Super helpful and delivered to the exact spot I wanted.

Biggest waste of time - try another charity.
If you have old antique furniture, don?t bother calling these people, we where told that our items would be collected and we described them all over the phone and sent pictures in on the forms. Was told ?yes yes we will have it thank you?
Booked the date, made arrangement at work to be off for collection traveled to the other side of Milton Keynes. Waiting 2 hours for them to arrive. THEY DONT WANT ANY OF IT!!
Because it got makes on and general wear (which stated in there website as long as it not broken, but if it had general wear it we don?t mind) but no because it not pristine and also not modern like ?ikea? it?s no good.
With how people are today wanting old style furniture and to redec it up, they could have actually made some money off this?.

Age UK have recently moved the furniture warehouse a few units up to what feels like a bigger unit.
I am a wheelchair user and found the warehouse easy to navigate. The staff were really nice and helpful. One lady even made a recommendation of a powered lounge chair as opposed to a sofa I'd been looking at and I was so glad I tried it. Delivery fees do seem high (£35) at first but when you consider that fee is up to 5 items and they will bring it in and position it where you want it's pretty good. Very satisfied so far (not had delivery yet).

We went age uk on 13/09/24 at 1645 to cancel the delivery.The saleswomen in the counter was very rude against us. She told she dont have 1 minute to spend with us. It was very disappointing. We already purchased many items. She was rushing to close the store

On 13/9/24 we went to age uk to cancel a delivery service,we have purchased more than 10 items,but the staff was really rushing to close the shop and was really rude,she just shut the door quick.This not acceptable.

Very bad manner with older people . Older people must be forgot due to age . No help no understanding about older people . Very bad manner last few time ago I buy one smart tv from their but i take it home & try to smart tv is not working so next day I visit to age & talk to emectrict department & this older person check so not working so he said come tomorrow I try to start but second day I visit to electric department he say smart tv not working & I left their . That day I say I coming next time when some find smart tv . I all ready paid £80 when I buy . I lost my receipt due to age . Next week I visit to age shop I show one smart tv and that also £80 so I say to electric man he came with me at receptionist but . say to other lady I think she is manager. She ignored every one and say I need recept other wise you paid £80 other . Electric man is humble person he say to lady but it?s ignore plus very bad manner no understanding about older person age I proud of age but it?s bad experience to me
