I had the most amazing experience training at the Iver academy. Incredible tutors with so much knowledge and support. I felt prepared and ready to start my career in film and television once I left. Such a warm friendly environment to learn and met some incredible people couldn't recommend it enough!

I had the most amazing experience studying at Iver Academy. Not only did I build such a huge skill set, it also improved my confidence in myself and gave me life long friendships. As a graduate, I feel Iver has greatly prepared me for the industry and I am enjoying working as a freelance hair, makeup and prosthetics trainee.

I had the best experience studying at The Iver Make up Academy, I graduated from the 30-Week Advanced Hair and Make up Course in August 2022 and it was the best thing i’ve done. All the tutors are so lovely and they teach you everything you need to know to start a career in the industry. They’ve given me so many opportunities which I would never have had before. Im currently working in Theatre in the West End and I cant wait for what’s to come in the future.

Having not previously trained before I started the Iver Academy, I was quite nervous. However I left the course feeling so confident and pleased in my abilities & skills I learnt at the academy. This place will give you amazing memories, skills, and connections to help you succeed as a makeup artist in the industry. I am so grateful to all the tutors who helped me and am lucky to have made lifelong friends also.

I looked at several different schools, the last one being the Iver Academy and I’m glad I waited before committing as it really was saving the best til last. The tutors were all great teachers and give an excellent insight into working in film and tv. Since graduating, I’ve always felt I can go back and ask for advice when needed or call about work if the industry gets a little quiet and everyone at the college is great at supporting their graduates. I would definitely recommend a course here.

I agree with all the reviews, for someone like me who changed careers, I felt supported and encouraged every day at the Iver Makeup Academy.
I was allowed to reconnect with making a career in something I was/am passionate about. Anyone attending a course here will experience something wonderful.

The tutors are amazing and have so much knowledge as they work in the industry between filming. They are so supportive and helpful. There have been numerous jobs that I have got through the Iver Acadmey agency since graduating as they try and help you get work. Great experience and would recommend!

I found The Iver Academy to be a brilliant school; the tutors have all worked or are currently working in the industry, which I think is key. The academy had wonderful facilities and an incredibly high level of teaching. The agency aftercare proved invaluable as did the ongoing support from the tutors. I’m extremely grateful for the foundation that The Iver Academy gave me and I felt fully equipped going into the industry.

I couldn’t recommend the Iver Academy enough. The knowledge I gained was impeccable, the facilities are fabulous, and the location is perfect for getting your foot into the Make-Up world. Having such talented professionals as tutors who have great experience in the industry (and are still currently working within it) was such a benefit. Not only do they teach you a huge range of practical skills, they prepare you for everything you need when starting in the industry such as etiquette, admin and continuity.
Aftercare at the Iver Academy is great with regular updates about job opportunities and experience to help you get your foot in the door, and they continue to support you further into the future after graduating. All the Tutors and Staff are so supportive and genuinely want to see all their students succeed once leaving the school.
Anyone wanting to begin their development in the Make-Up industry would highly benefit from studying at the Iver Academy!

I couldn't recommend The Iver Makeup Academy more highly. I did the 14 week course and learnt so much from all the incredible tutors. The course taught me everything I needed to get started in the industry. The aftercare at Iver is also brilliant. As well as helping you find jobs, the tutors are always there to offer advice and give you a helping hand with whatever you need. I had the best time at Iver and would recommend it to anyone.
