I visited le de spencers arms today for the first time today with a walking group. I found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The chilli I had for lunch was very tasty and the facilities, particularly the garden were very good.

The ‘Le De’ is a little flint pub, nestling in the woods at the back of Downley Common surrounded by acres of beautiful AONB land with miles of trails to explore.
This common land location makes an ideal refreshment stop after hiking, biking or for a regular family and friends social. Step through the gate from the track into a large, child friendly garden complete with gazebos, play area, charming arbour and generous seating under a wonderful Hornbeam.
Inside you will find a warm, friendly atmosphere with an open fire, low ceilings and rustic beams. Landlord and Landlady, Mark and Sarah, serve excellent home-cooked food alongside a great line-up of real ales and wines.
