absolutely poor service, i had problems with my card due to fraudulent activity. Although this might not be Santanders fault they dont help the situation. I have spent nearly 2 hours here due to the poor support. I was speaking to an advisor who seemed like he hasn?t got the time or day for us! It was meant to be a simple process and they have delayed it longer than it needed to be. Extremely poor service, My advice is if you are looking for a bank DO NOT COME HERE! They wont give you your money, will ask a million and one questions and probably still wont give you your money. How are they not giving me my OWN MONEY! DO NOT USE SANTANDER! At this point the scammers and the banks are the same!

Never got to interact with them for an extended period, because the banks always bloody shut. Honestly it shuts at 3pm? Feels like an absolute shambles compared to the 5pm of most of the other banks.

Disgusting customer service. After several appointments being replanned, we finally got to the appointment, spoke to someone and we?re told to wait with 1 person in front of us. When we were called for, where we were told you were 10 minutes late to you appoint! She claimed to have come out and didn?t see us waiting, which was a lie as we were sat waiting, while she went out for 10 minutes, spoke to a colleague and then came back after running around. We parked in the Morrisons walked down and yes were 6 minutes late, waited 5 minutes in the queue and sat in the waiting area for 45. After 56 minutes of waiting to be seen, she had the audacity to say we?re late!!!! Absolutely disgusted with this behaviour, we will be looking for another bank to take our custom. No communication, no transparency, just a superiority complex and utter useless staff.

Been trying to call Santander Mortgage to renew my mortgage for 6 weeks! 1 hour per day calling. Can never get through. Even went into my local branch and they do not have a Mortgage department. Rates going up daily and their complaints team say call the number! Cannot get through. HOW ON EARTH DO WE SPEAK TO THESE PEOPLE! The rest of the world has gone back to work! NOT BANKS! nobdoy ever answers even from their complaints email. 6 weeks on and rates going up daily! Not just me, others I know with Santander have the same issue. This is done on purpose so they get more money on daily rate increases. Simple for them, dont answer and eventually we have to accept the increased rate. Run out of ideas on how to get hold of someone either by phone, email or even in person at their banks! Concerning when I have my mortgage, current and business account with them!
