I stayed at Holiday Inn (High Wycombe)M40 junc 4 on Sat 2nd March 2024. I was attending and Aikido Seminar held a High Wycombe Judo Center which was only a 10 mins away. I arrived at the hotel at around 5pm after the course for the Saturday was completed. I was promptly checked in by a very courteous gentleman, and was given the swipe card key to my room. It seemed a long way away but this was only because I had a very large kit bag with me that was quite heavy. After carefully negotiating the stairs upto the first floor, I made my way to room 136. The room was huge. There was a king-size bed, along with a sofa bed. The king-sized bed gave me an absolutely amazing ?, which was especially needed after a hard day of physical training. I'm a shower guy, but the bath was a welcomed necessity...bliss. Fast forward to breakfast which was perfect for refuelling for another days training at the HWJC. The staff member who made sure we were looked after at breakfast time was named Diana, she had such a welcoming smile and professional helpful attitude. A credit to HIHW. Thanks, Bubba. San Raku Kan Aikido dojo. ?Rooms: Huge quality bed. Easy to use TV, hot bath...to ease aching joints and muscles.

Great stay, convenient location. We requested interconnecting rooms which made the stay more comfortable as a family of 5.Breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold food. Attentive staff. They were great with my son who has a nut allergy and ensured he had a specially made hot breakfast.Only downside is the walls are quite thin so noise from next door did keep us up on the first night.

Have been there for business meetings. It's nice, clean, well-managed and run smoothly by friendly staff.Amy at the reception and Diana in the restaurant are exceptionally great with their immaculate customer service. The restaurant even serves some halal meat in consideration of dietary requirements. Inquire within the restaurant and their friendly staff will give your every bit of detail about the food they are serving. There is a new parking system in place so be sure to enter your reg at the reception regardless how long you will stay there for. Amy at the reception is really helpful in that regard.High recommended 5 star ? out of 5Nearby activities: Petrol station at a stones throw.Asda supermarket is next to it.There are variety of food choices like Friday's, McDonalds and High Wycombe town is 10 minutes away with plenty of food options available in townWycombe is a historic market town with many museums and historic sites to visit and easy access to Chiterns AONB.Food & drinks: The restaurant even serves some halal meat in consideration of dietary requirements. Inquire within the restaurant and their friendly staff will give your every bit of detail about the food they are serving.

Had to pay parking at night to charge our EV at bp pulse, just passing by at night, so that we could get home and not get stuck as the car we rented didn?t have its own cable, which we couldn?t see at night was such bad lighting , really dark parking lot so could not see any signage about paying for parking or using charging facilities, holiday inn uses it for a money making scheme because why is there no signage , and got charged a fine for this for 60 pounds because of this and at same time got harassed by a hobo asking for money ?for a paid parking lot? . Also the EV charging, one didn?t work and the other got stuck in the car and charged so slow for 40 minutes it only got us a little extra.

We only stayed at the hotel for two nights but when we arrived at the hotel we found a smelly old chicken that was eaten in the closet. The second day I left my bag in the room next to my suitcase. I left the room to explore London and the cleaners came into the room to clean. When I came back, my bag with stuff in it was gone. We went to the reception to alarm them, but they couldn?t do anything. They just apologised. If we wanted anything back from the bag, we had to be insured. So a tip: do not leave ur stuff in the hotel when ur out. The staff didn?t really help us. It?s been a month since we went there and we still didn?t get our stuff back. This was very sad, because there were many souvenirs and other things in the bag. We also found a red crayon under the bed, which means that the rooms aren?t cleaned well enough.Rooms: The rooms weren?t cleaned well, there was an eaten chicken with sauce (which wasn?t ours) in a closet.
