Ordered brake pads on the website which said would be available for collection next day 18th. Also said not to travel until store had confirmed they were ready. No confirmation and my account online said order had been collected, which it hadn't. Tried online chat to get confirmation but apparently the name I gave didn't match their system. Explained to chat person that Andrew is the long version of Andy. Tried calling the store but can't get past the IVR system. Finally travelled to the store and collected. Complained to the staff there and got nothing but a shrug and a blank look. Marvellous!

Everyone was extreamly helpfull, the lady who served me at the till and the guys who offer technical help where fantastic. I usually don't review a 10 minute purchase in a store but felt that this time I would purely based on how helpful they all where.

I?ve been a customer of Halfords High Wycombe for 37 years. I have purchased all of my motoring supplies from them since I started to drive, but the treatment I?ve had recently has been shocking.
I?m a business owner myself and I know the customer service is everything!! On this occasion Halfords High Wycombe has failed miserably. I purchased a battery that is still under warranty. Taking the battery and the receipt to the store and speaking to the manager, I was told that it was not covered under warranty even without the battery being tested. Not sure how they can do that but apparently they can. After quite a confrontational discussion they decided to take the battery in for charging and testing with a promise to call back with the outcome. I?ve heard nothing from them for a week.
Unfortunately I couldn?t return to the store myself, but after finding out you cannot call the store directly I?ve been talking to Halford?s customer care team and have been promised on multiple occasions that I would be called back immediately by the store, but nothing!! It seems that even Halford?s own customer support can?t get its own stores to resolve problems. So be warned! It seems to me that Halford?s warranty?s are pretty much worthless and their customer support unable to resolve issues!!!!
I don?t generally do reviews but on this occasion I think Halford?s need to see that they are failing and in the current financial climate they need to look after their customers and do what they say they are going to do. After all they are supposed to be the professionals when it comes to automotive suppliers. I?m sure there are other retailers who would appreciate the business!!

Paid £54 to have front and rear number plates made and fitted. Plates were fitted with black screws showing without the coloured caps that finishes the look off to be told they don't fit every car. This was a 3 year old mini with the original plates and screws on this but due to the technician ripping the old caps off and the Halfords store manager saying there was nothing he could do, I have now had to order screw caps for both front and rear. Poor service and won't use again.
