I went to Halfords High Wycombe to get my Air Con looked at. Got there and was taken right away no messing around.. told to come back 2 hours. Within 2 hours l got an email saying the car was ready. Sakalain
got the job done. Thanks to Sakalian and the rest of the team.

Changed my car tyres. No problems yet fingers crossed.
Receptionist could do with some customer service training. Told me that my tyres were worn out to the cords. I have eyes and they weren't they were just old which is why i changed them.

I dropped my car off at the required time, then returned nearly 3 hours later and my car had not moved. When enquiring with the mechanic he stated he would have the brake check carried out in 20 minutes, on my return the car had not moved and my lock nut for the wheels had not been touched. He stated on my return that my brakes were fine. 2 hours after my return home I received an email stating that my appointment had been cancelled. I guess this Garage doesn?t take brakes to be a safety critical part of a car. I will take my car to another garage in future and have it serviced by more competent and professional mechanics.
Further update: on my return home I noticed this damage to the front bumper and a crack/damage to my fog light. It had been damaged whilst on the premises/garage. I guess this would be the reason they cancelled the appointment 2 hours later.
If I could give zero stars I would.

Highly recommend Halfords for mot and services excellent job , respectful lads and very prompt also great at keeping you in touch with how far they are with your car a lovely experience.

Would give 0 stars if I could, went to this halfords due to my car making a strange noise they checked it over and told me it was a gearbox bearing and would need a whole new gearbox which was gonna cost me a lot. Went to get a second opinion from a different mechanic who told me the noise was not my gearbox but from my rear breaks needing to be cleaned. Had that done and no more noise so Halfords' telling me my car needed a new gearbox when it didn?t.

If I could rate my experience lower than 1 star then I would. Poor impression on the phone when scheduling the appointment, very vague, unhelpful and poor English. Arrived at 8am and was still closed. Two staff members turned up late and sauntered in smoking vapes. When I walked in the atmosphere was very unwelcoming, terrible communication, no eye contact or customer service skills.
The premises was completely run down, not what you would expect from a Halfords Autocentre.
I will not be returning and I recommend others to
book elsewhere.

Booked my car in for a check, as there was an unexplained noise whilst driving. Got an appointment the next day and the problem was sorted quickly and effectively.

Despite a delay caused by tyre availability, the staff were helpful and professional throughout. Once the tyres arrived, the work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard.
