Ended up using this branch as the larger one left me on hold for over 22 minutes!I had been advised that either a new battery was needed or something else.The staff followed it up with a diagnostics verification.Sure enough I needed a battery and It was delivered to the branch within an hour.Staff I spoke to were cheerful and clearly busy

Useless.Booked an appointment online and they cancelled 40 minutes before it was supposed to happen. Apparently there wasn?t enough time for the work to be carried out. I?d been in contact with them during the day and they hadn?t said anything about this being the case. They decided to wait until 4.50 to cancel my 5.30 slot.

Went in for a "free car/brake check" they had going on. The car was there most of the day, and the guys didn't even take the wheels off to check the brakes! How do I know? Because the guy confirmed they don't unless a service had been paid for. So why was it advertised as a brake check and confirmed my wheel locking nut key will be required to take the wheels off? Picked the car up exactly from the place I left it. Did it even move? I wonder if this happened because it was a "free" check offer they had at the time? Very suspicious, and wasted pretty much my day. Everyone looked like a school leaver except one guy that was smoking away around the back. Deceptive and questionable comes to mind about this garage.

Not usually one to give bad reviews but this is the worst garage I have ever been to. My partner used this garage after his car broke down on the motorway. Communication was appalling, still had no clue what was wrong with car after more than three weeks. Told endless lies after being left on hold for long periods of time, resulted in extra expense of having car towed to another garage. They even lost the keys so it couldn't be picked up without having to take a second set down there. Absolute disaster! Avoid like the plague if you can.

Halfords Autocentre in High Wycombe, where unreliability meets unprofessionalism. Despite booking two weeks in advance, my service and MOT turned into a nightmare. A last-minute service rescheduling and a canceled MOT on the day, leaving me with just two days on my MOT. Their lack of assistance and nonchalant attitude made the experience even worse. Money refunded, but trust shattered. Avoid this autocentre if you value your time and sanity.

I don't usually write bad reviews for illness, but I've been here twice within the last 6 months and on both occasions there's been problems with my booking, so I thought I would recommend booking your car in a month in advance of your MOT date, I booked 4 months in advance and left it a week before it expired, they cancelled this morning and said they where booked 10 to 14 days in advance. I'm leaving the country on Friday, can't take my car because can't get an MOT before I go, it's cost me £50 to change my Le Shuttle booking and £1759 to hire a car, so my £40 MOT has cost me over £1800, not a saving belonging to the Halfords motoring club and I've lost my £5 voucher

This branch is badly in need of a lick of paint and a cleaner, waiting area looked and filthy and clearly hadn't been cleaned for months. Although I would say the chap looking after the branch is keeping it a float and is a credit to that branch, very helpful considering the volume he was having to deal with that day. Whoever covers that area for Halfords should be ashamed, and I'm sure can splash out on a pot of paint or 2 and a cleaner one day a week? Would be five star but first impressions count for everything nowadays. Nothing premium about this visit

Had booked in and paid for a mot and service, and had also phoned and spoken to them 3 days before the booking. 2 days before the booking they called to say they could no longer do the service and were incredibly dismissive about the issues that would cause.Ended up cancelling the mot with them to go with a more reliable company.Looking at other reviews, this seems to be common for this garage, so I wouldn?t trust that booking, paying and communicating with Halfords guarantees they will fulfil the service you require.

Never recommend to someone. I booked MOT + service. On the day they cancelled the service as technician was not available. MOT failed and they gave me a date for service + retest. I dropped the car around 9 am & they called me back @ 17 :00 to tell me that they can?t rectify the fault so retest is not possible. No appointment available at their center so the receptionist told me to do repair in local garage, ridiculous . It?s all because of their fault & still not tried to arrange an appointment. Responsibility ?. Please go to the garages that value your money & time.

Went in for an MOT. Staff were friendly and really helpful. Unfortunately it failed initially but Naz and Ed were able to facilitate a same day retest after sorting issue. Five star service!!

Was booked in to have an MOT and service. When I arrived was told they had tried to contact me to say the person doing the service was off so they could only do the MOT - they had not contacted me. Had the MOT done and it was recommended I have my front brake pads changed so this was booked in, along with the rescheduled service. The car went in for the rescheduled service and at 2.30pm I was called and told the BACK brake pads also needed changing - apparently they couldn't tell me that at the time of my MOT 'because they couldn't see everything'. Surely a car can't pass its MOT if not everything is checked!!!! Was told the car would be finished at 4pm and got a later follow up saying 4.15pm. Arrived at 4.05 and was told it would be 8 or 9 more minutes as someone had to do a quality check... and I couldn't pay until that had been done. Went in 10min later... Still not done. Went in again after 25min and got told they actually didn't have anyone to do the check but that people don't normally mind waiting!!!! Just a terrible experience- poor service, suspect work and lack of communication/honest. Stay away from this place!

Had an MOT done here and these lads went above and beyond for me! Really appreciate their hard work and dedication. Want to shout out Dave and Ed, Ed is a wonderful man and Dave managed to tweak a same day Retest. Thanks guys, keep doing what you do ?

Had to get a brake pad replacements done on my car which was booked in for 830AM, i called at 827AM to tell them i will be 5 minutes late and they go OH WE WERE JUST ABOUT TO CALL YOU TO CANCEL, guy on the other end being rude and sounding annoyed, told him that it?s the second time you guys are cancelling on me(earlier was in january) and he goes OH WELL YOU SHOULDNT BOOK WITH US, i said to him you need to improve management and should have called earlier and he goes YOU ARE BEING RUDE ?AND HUNG UPService: Brakes

Absolutely disgusting service!!Went to have my MOT done this morning and was told that they tried to contact me yesterday to cancel due to the MOT person having a family emergency.They did not contact me I had no missed calls or a voice message!! I had a text message saying that my car was booked in!!I asked the rude man at the desk what was I supposed to do as my car needed it?s MOT and his response was well other people are in the same boat as you it?s not our fault the person is off!! I wouldn?t of minded so much if they had informed me before I was actually there.I then received an email from them when I got home saying my appointment had been cancelled on the 13th September!! Why would I have booked that when my MOT is due on the 12th!!I will never use this garage again and would not recommend it to anyone else!! They are liars!!
