It's a great place with great service however the first eye exam (where you look at a hot air balloon) gets quite tedious and changing the picture shown to offer variety would greatly improved my visit

An independant opticians. The eye examination is more thorough than "the chains" and they provide a detailed explanation of each of the tests. The full range of 'solutions' to correct my eyesight were presented in as much depth as I wanted to go. I opted for glasses, and the optometrists were patient and helpful when choosing frames/lenses. I got the right solution where "the chains" had failed. (Twice). I had to book an appointment for fitting which caused a delay, but the fitting was much better than I have ever had. My requirements were complex and they delivered.They raise the bar.

I went to David on a recommendation and the service I received was excellent. The examination was so much more thorough than I had experienced at a multi national chain. There were many more checks than I usually have and they spent time explaining all the results. I spent ages picking my new glasses and never felt under pressure for time. I picked my glasses up today and again they spent time making sure I was happy with the fit.Overall an excellent experience and would highly recommend.

Have been looked after by Mr Williams since I was a child. Simply the best optometrist ever. The service is personal to each client whatever the age. He now looks after my children's eye sight too and my husbands. Would recommend most earnestly.

The best Optician I have ever encountered.Friendly staff and Optometrist. They explained everything thoroughly, gave me an incredibly through check of eyesight and eyehealth and went through the options including prices.I travelled one hour to visit them and it was well worth it.

Went today to ask for an eye examination. I felt the receptionist quite rude and racist, such a shame.She said that an eye examination costs £37 , but if I want it in writing (to be filled on a paper) will be double this price. Because there is an effort for the doctor to write the visual acuity down.I can't believe that I just heard that !Shame !! Shame!!
