“Was in Sportscrest in High Wycombe yesterday to have a number applied to the back of a football shirt, and they did a really fantastic job. I supplied the shirt and the number, and they heat-pressed it onto the shirt quickly and expertly. Even though the shop was very busy with “back to school” customers at the time, the service was efficient and friendly.

I’ve used Sportscrest before for name and number applications and they’ve always been excellent – consistent quality, reliable turnaround, and a great local service. Highly recommended!”

“I quite regularly look around this shop during my intervention with a young child that is out of education. This child is sensory seeking and loves going into this Lush on our walks around Eden. The staff are always fantastic, so friendly and happy to see him. It has got to the point where this previouslynquite shy child is now confident enough to interact with the staff. This is reflective of the approachable and relaxed nature of the lovely people that work here.

In my line for work, shops where the staff are understanding of additional needs and accommodating to customers like us - who are generally just browsing - is a life saver. Knowing that we can go in on our usual route, see familiar faces and have a chat is so nurturing for this little boy's confidence and self esteem.

A staff member has even been kind enough on a couple of occasions to demonstrate a bath bomb. This really has been special and much appreciated.

“It has clothing for men and women of all ages including new born and up for boys and girls. Home decoration with sheets, duvets, ornaments, pillows - everything you would need. Changing rooms available - self check out available along with customer service at the same desk. Just make sure they take the tag off your item before leaving the shop and going on holiday!”

“A High Street name for outerwear. This shop in High Wycombe is well stocked. The staff are always attentive - not pushy - and helpful.We took our grandson in today to buy a waterproof jacket. After trying 2-3 jackets we chose the one we wanted but unfortunately they did not have the right size in the colour he wanted. This has been ordered and we have been advised that it will be available to collect in 4-5days. However, the salesman who served us seemed reasonably sure it would arrive sooner.We have shopped here before and the staff know their products and are always very knowledgeable and friendly. They are happy to help or leave you alone and will advise on available discounts etc. I hope the shop management appreciate the value of the staff they have here.”

“Great Independent menswear shop (the only one in Wycombe ) .Really good selection of designer clothes at really affordable prices .Walked in today and was made to feel as a brother to these absolute gents .it was so good to meet and deal with these guys ,expert advice, good laugh , 100% brilliant”

“came here just before lockdown - very patient and friendly staff with great knowledge the lady who served me sprayed a few scents and out the shop I went with 3 new ones, I have looked in on passing for the same lady since COVID lifted and saw her again yesterday it took alot more than a few sprays to get their - but we did with immense patience, went in for 1 perfume went out with 2 and an online purchase - Caroline Herrera 2 varieties and Mugler (the pink one) smells beautiful!! and she will know who she is by these fragrances! thankyou and see you again in 4months or so! x”

“Range of products is very good here, it is a struggle to find staff available to help if help is needed. There was a queue as usual to pay (but no longer than usual) but all tills were staffed and staff were polite. There were parts of the store (particularly near the back) which were dusty and could do with a good clean. Overall good experience though.”

Can't fault the members of staff on the MAC and Clinique make up counters. They were both so helpful and friendly, I won't hesitate to revisit after my experience. They're definitely a credit to your store.”

“Great to have a large local New Look. Plenty of staff to ask for help and a tidy store too which isn’t always the case elsewhere. Poppy helped my niece with finding shoes and ended up buying her 2! I will say that don’t moan at the staff re paper free receipts it’s a company policy and I was embarrassed to see a younger member of the public giving the man on the till a hard time! Great store idea for giving someone a gift card.”

“H and M is what it is, lots of clothes with many at cheap prices. You pay for what you get. I like to go to them for unusual pieces and cheap t-shirt. However this store is not as good as some of the others it often feels messy and it is not so easy to find things in. I prefer the Aylesbury one.”

He's always prompt on coming out to vehicles, with a friendly demeanor and a big smile on his face every time, no matter the weather! He remembers everyone's names, and is efficient with his work. Will only let you check out at one. And when the shop is really busy, it can be frustrating to see people standing at the other check outs, not doing anything.”

I can’t speak for all of the staff but on Saturday we were served by Ollie, who’s product knowledge was second to none. He was polite and efficient without being overbearing.
