What a shocking manager, no customer service skills at all!
Empty restaurant that he said was full but we could eat outside! Restaurant never used more than 30% of the tables all night!
Food took 2 hours to arrive at table
Don’t use thus restaurant go to the services 1 junction down the road, compared you will think you’ve gone to the Ritz!

On 16/05/2025 we visited your restaurant (PaperMill High Wycombe). After waiting 20 mins in a long queue at the bar we was told in a rudely manor " you can see how busy it is so I'm not bring food outside i will knock on the window and you can come in and collect your food" i replied to this by saying If I receive a discount then I'll accept this. The lady at the bar just walked of once I said this. I found this so unprofessional and rude. I do not want to come to a restaurant and receive such rude attitude and I certainly don't want to start becoming a waiter. This is such a shame and I've been here before on several different occasions and the service and food was brilliant! But don't think I'll ever be returning after this incident! In the end we just left and went to a greene king.

Had a fantastic family Christmas meal, staff were all so welcoming and very accommodating, service was excellent. All really enjoyed our meals , starters, mains and desserts were beautifully presented.

Absolutely disgusting. Service was awful, 45 minutes wait for starters. No one came to take our drinks order. Went to the bar to get it ourselves. All the food was horrid, in-edible. Burnt burger, sent back, came back cold and chewy. Steak was tiny and small, gammon was basically a slice of bacon with pineapple, chips cold and soggy, salad and veg watery. Bacon burnt and stiff.
The one Bar man was amazing, taking orders, delivering drinks to tables, taking food orders all himself. Other staff basically doing nothing and their attitude was disgraceful. Arguing with customers who didn't touch their meals.
Will never be going back again.

We went there on Boxing day, and it wasn't very busy for the time of year.
We ordered our meals from the festive menu and then waited o error 45 minutes for our starters to arrive, and I had to ask on of the front of house staff how much longer we were waiting or else it is my belief we would be waiting longer. This was the only part of the meal that was edible.
We chose the Carvery and what a mistake. The roast potatoes looked like they were tesco value roast, the cauliflower cheese was drowning in water to the point that there was no cheese at all, the carrot and peas were also swimming in water and had been there so long that they were going to mush. The Parsnips were all burnt, in that calling them burnt is being mild they were more like lungs of charcoal in fact you could of made a nice drawing with had you had some paper. Now the meats that were there were disappointing to say the least. The turkey was dry the gammon was all fat and the beef, well that was almost raw. When asked how long it had been there the reply came back since 12 o'clock, and this was at 3.30 so that joint had been out for 3and half hours.
When we complained the manager was extremely rude and told the bar staff to void the bill and that we were barred and not welcome in her pub.
I felt really sorry for the front of staff who was getting the brunt of the complaints and managed very well to stay calm and polite, it's just a shame that their manager couldn't do the same.
As a result of this we recommend that you avoid this place at all cost

Where do I start ?
We went for a family meal and Boxing Day it was absolutely appalling
It took over 45 minutes just for our starters all we had ordered was nachos chicken strip and kids garlic bread 45 mins wait
We then opted for the Carvery oh my days I've never seen anything like it I wouldn't even feed the pigs in a trough such a meal the vegetables were swimming in water name mashed potato the roast potatoes you could use them as bricks they was that hard .
The meat if you like your raw uncooked and frozen cold then this is what you get
The kids pizza was moldie so asked to replace with popping checking well that was so over cooked if we dropped it we would of broken the plate we arrived at 1:45 and left at 4:30 only had eaten starters
Myself and three other tables at this point had enough and decided to complain
Warning if you complain about your food the manager gets really rude with you and tells you to get out of the pub and bars you
Over all don't go there
We have done a formal complaint to head office and we have got pictures to back us up

Where do I start ,when we arrived there was a notice o the day saying there was a delivery issue .so some items on the menu wasn't available. So we thought ok will stay. We waited for about 30 to 40 minutes to recieve our drinks then another 30 minutes to order food
When we did order food we were advised that there was a delay on food orders at no point did a member of staff advised us on this. To cut a long short most of
the festive menu was available which was disappointing as there was a party who was able too not y
Staff didn't seem to be full of knowledge of what was going on
Our party of three would not reckon mend you to our friends

Arrived at the premier inn to stay away for work, went to the brewers fayre. I walked in and was told they have a limited menu due to shortages of food. Wasn't given a menu of the limited menu even just habit of a4/a5 bit of paper so we could see what was on offer.
We then sat for around 15-20 minutes before someone came over to ask for drinks and they only came over because we prompted to do so. After drinks and food was ordered drinks turned up a further 15 minutes later and again I had to go to the bar to get it.
If the restaurant was busy I would understand however it was empty. I ordered the big stack burger and it came out scorched with the tiniest dollop of sauce in the burger.
The second night we weren't greeted at the door we had to wait 10 -15 minutes before someone came and took us to our seats.
Overall not great, which is a shame as I have eaten at brewers fayre before and it's really good service and food. So I'm putting this experience to a "bad week".
