Cute and quaint country pub, evening food served from 5.30pm and we ate 3 different dishes; fish & chips, pie of the week and pork belly and all were equally delicious! Highly recommend for a drink and bite to eat when in the area and we?ll be back next time we visit the roald Dahl museum.

Had a stop over in the Abbey last night and was recommended to try out this pub, we hadn?t booked the young lady on the front of house was amazing and juggled things around and got us a table, the food and atmosphere was fantastic, and hats off to the staff who were all very friendly. I would recommend a visit if in the area.

I was celebrating with my parents on getting my first flat. We chose here and it was lovely. The atmosphere was super cosy, and really cute. Felt like Christmas?? and I love that.
Food was delicious. I had the chicken, ham and leek pie. On a miserable rainy day this was perfect. Service was good, came quick. Would come back again.

This is my local pub, and the staff always makes you feel so welcome. The food is brilliant, and the service is 10/10. The outside area is very nice too and you and has a very lovely atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place.
Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options on the menu.
Parking: You have the local car park on the main Link Road. The Crosskeys does have parking but limited and would recommend you park in the main car park, and this is only a short walk.
Kid-friendliness: Happy to accommodate children
Wheelchair accessibility: I would recommend you call them when booking and make them aware. The wheelchair access is accessed from the rear of the building.

This is a beautiful English pub with great food and excellent service. We had an early dinner and the food was delicious. The waitress was very attentive and always willing to fulfill our special requirements. The desserts were yummy and the icing on the cake was being able to bring our dog with us.

Food was plentiful although bread was a bit hard but lots of prawns. Very caring on my grandson who had allergies. The waitress took great care. In noting it and they took special care. So helpful to provide him with something that he could eat.
Small parking. But car park was near.
Kid-friendliness: They were so kind to the children. A lot of patience.

Took Mum for her birthday. The food and service was second to none! The staff even put a candle in her Eton Mess and sang Happy birthday. She was so chuffed. Love this place ?
