I came with a couple of friends to the stag for a drink and dinner. I had pizza and throughly enjoyed it. Becca who was serving behind the bar was polite and helpful nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend it.

Cutlery was not sharp, after the starters they took our cutlery and did not replace, food was lukewarm, vegetables were cold, service was slow,
The restaurant itself is very tired and run down internally.

We visited early evening, midweek, on a fairly miserable day. The Stag was quiet, understandably. However, the view to the rear of the pub was exceptional, with a covered area to sit outside. The interior was clear and tidy, no sticky tables!The Rebellion IPA was exactly as it should be. I compared by visiting the Rebellion Brewery in Marlow and sampling it at source, more than a few times. I am reliably informed that the Pino Grigio was also very good.The food was freshly cooked and excellent. The triple cooked chips were especially moreish.An enjoyable evening with good food, decent beer, and a nice view. Can't really go wrong here!
