The food was very good, hot, fresh, and full of flavour. The tempera was fresh and delicious. The Caesar dressing and tartar sauce were excellent, and the children?s ice cream, while slightly less cold than ideal, was still lovely. Service was friendly and well-timed; the staff were attentive without being intrusive, giving us plenty of time to decide on our order and never interrupting our conversation.
If possible, it would be nice to have some form of insect screen to prevent wasps from coming indoors, as their presence was a minor distraction. The washroom facilities could also benefit from a fresher scent. Overall, however, it was an enjoyable dining experience.

The food is lovely we had the Sunday roasts, the only comment is the cauliflower cheese is £6.00 that's alot of money for a little tiny dish and the stuffing was £ 6.00 for 3 tiny stuffing balls, so £2 each they actually not even round, actually feel ripped off

Great place to go for a quiet lunch/drink in the afternoon, you have the choice of indoor or outdoor dining which is a bonus to an already great place especially on a summers day. 5/5
The food arrives fairly quickly from kitchen to table, and tastes fresh and relatively flavoursome too. 4/5

This is a delightful pub in a pretty English village, wisteria and all. The menu is varied, the food is excellent and staff friendly and helpful. If it's full there are two other pubs nearby.

Lovely pub and garden, with kind and generally attentive service, although sometimes hard to get a server's attention during a busy Sunday service.
The food was fine, but expensive for what it was. The veggie roast was under seasoned and overall a little disappointing, the promised Wellington certainly not living up to the name. Roasted cauliflower came slightly overcooked, and not packing much flavour.
Unfortunately one of the slats on our table was not attached to the table, so my wife's full glass of wine went flying all over her trousers when I lent on Disappointing that these kinds of details aren't taken care of for the care and safety of customers, however we did get a free replacement glass.

What a lovely place. The bar area is very small, but it has a massive rear garden area, which more then makes up for it. We had dinner and the menu was nice and well cooked. We were seen by Olivia, and she was fantastic. Great service and very polite. She helped me and my partner steer through the chilli and spice allergy fantastically. Great place to go.
