Extremely disappointing experience on Mothers Day. The manager was totally incompetent and overbooked massively meaning we waited over 2 hours for our main course. We felt very sorry for the waitresses as they bore the brunt of poor management. Would not recommend.

The food and atmosphere was great, however what spoilt our experience is the lack of staff. The two staff one in the bar and the other serving a very busy pub lunch was friendly, however the lack of staff impacted our service greatly. Firstly a long time to be served a drink, waiting time for the food, and thirdly not given the menu for desert or asked whether we would like a desert or coffee, after having to ask for the bill we all left after our lunch. Not a good experience.

Our first visit to The Green Man
The food was amazing we had 3 courses and each one was cooked to perfection 10/10
What spoilt it for us though was our table we booked a table for 2 in advance but it was the worse table in the restaurant it was in the corner against the wall and we were next to a table of 4 which was very close to ours the people were extremely loud which we didnt have a problem with it just made it very difficult for my friend and I to have a conversation especially as there was already alot of background noise we also had a long wait in-between courses we kept being forgotten about we had to call for assistance a couple of times although the staff were very friendly they lacked awareness what we found most annoying there was a table in the middle of the restaurant which was empty when we arrived at 7.30pm until we left at 10.15pm so we could of had that table!

Called in, passing through the village. A cozy, well furnished rustic venue. Friendly staff, nice music and atmosphere. Food looked lovely, despite not ordering anything myself as the menu was limited. Only 1 chicken dish for main, which was my preference on this day sadly.

We came for lunch to this pub In the lovely old village centre. The beer was very good. We had the set menu, which was good pub fare but nothing more. A pleasant lunch overall.

It was ok but the service was awful
Waited over 25 mins for a dessert. When asked the waitress did nothing and went outside.

It's a really lovely place but might be a bit lively in the evening. Great food, decent set menu, and not bad overall. Parking might be a pain, though, and perhaps try to get seated in doors (if required) as the outside marquee doesn't seem to be well equipped, especially if it should be filled with people.

Went to this pub to buy a friend a coffee but were greeted by a very rude asian looking woman telling us and another group of 4 people that they didnt open until 12.00 even though their website said 11.00 am. She was very aggressive and although I live close by and have used this pub in the past, would certainly not ever go there again.

Lovely pub. Great food and atmosphere and always impeccable and friendly service.
Of the three pubs in Denham village, The Green Man is our favourite and go-to venue.
Highly recommend.

The Green Man is a lovely pub in a great location with a warm and welcoming atmosphere inside. We enjoyed our visit, especially the delicious food ? the Cumberland sausages and mash were excellent! We sat in the garden under the gazebo, which was nice, though the outdoor area could use a bit of improvement. Next time, we'll likely choose to sit indoors to fully enjoy the cozy vibe. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a very pleasant experience, and we would definitely visit again!

Absolutely lovely place. Beautiful beer garden, both the chicken Caesar salad and fish and chips were superb, good chicken in the salad and fish wasn?t greasy at all, it really tasty! Good kids meals too, they were happy. Bit on the expensive side but worth it.

A wonderful warm reception as you arrive. A good and varied menu. Explained clearly and with passion by the staff. Executed superbly by the chef. There was no issue cooking g the lamb to my preference. Excellent apple.crumble

I never write poor reviews and often put it down to an ?off? day.
The Sunday roast was particularly awful: overall tasteless with chewy beef and soggy potatoes. I could see a stack of dozens of Yorkshire puddings in the kitchen. After tasting mine, I asked for one that wasn?t rock hard or cold and I was given one with oil seeping out of it instead.
When asked, I explained that £25 for a roast + service in Denham is steep for food that was ultimately pushed around the plate. There was no offer of partial refund or to order something else just an explanation that ?everyone else loves the roast.?
Some dishes and drinks didn?t arrive.
Poor experience and won?t be returning.
