Premium destination in so many ways - fantastic clubhouse, lovely terrace, beautifully conditioned course. Personally found some of the holes furthest from the clubhouse a little ?samey?, but this is still a great place to visit

Mixed feelings here.
First of all
The clubhouse and staff were 5*, the new refurbishments are absolutely fantastic and you?d be hard pressed to find a better clubhouse.
The changing rooms are superb, the clubhouse has a wine bar, whiskey bar, restaurant and a few bars as well.
Unfortunately the course was slightly lacking. It had been subject to severe rain over the past week or so and as a result, there were massive puddles all over the fairways and was sodden underfoot
The green staff had made the greens excellent though and they were pure.
I?d love to come back in spring / summer and witness the course at its best.

Fortunate to play on a courtesy round. Course in good condition. Enjoyed the playing the course, although it could do with better signage ( in particular from 6th green to 7th tee). Great practice facilities and really friendly staff.

Possibly my favorite course in Buckinghamshire which given the level of competition is saying something.\\n\\nIt is not just a fantastic course both in playability/fun and condition but a also a really classy venue. As a visiting four ball we were met by security before entering the grounds who already were expecting us but then also met at the car park by the staff who took our bags and showed us through to the club house for a super breakfast ahead of our round. Little touches like that really make the day feel that little bit more special. As for the course, impeccable condition from tee box to green, great holes, challenging par 4s in terms of distance and lots of water. Its a full fat green fee but worth every penny.

I am a keen golfer, and came for a drink with my wife as thought to show her a nice golf course. But we were turned away at the bar. They said it's a private member's club so they can't serve us. Wow! couldn't believe how this club's policies haven't moved with the time! Much better courses are far more relaxed and welcome public.
