We were booked in for Sunday lunch and I would just like to thank the staff for being so accommodating today. Food was absolutely lovely and coffees were brilliant. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

Popped in here after a long hike nearby. Reviews were really good so decided to grab food here. Waited 2 hours for mains and pudding. Shouldn't have had to wait that long for food as it wasn't even busy. Asked for an extra log to be put on the fire as it was almost out and we were cold, it was never done. The food was good but the portion of mash for the veggie sausages, mash and peas was a bit lacking. The vegan chocolate orange torte was amazing but ironically I wasn't asked what I wanted with it and was served with dairy cream, which luckily was ok for me, but I'm not sure how impressed a vegan would be.
The staff were friendly enough, but I did notice that one male member of staff just stood behind the bar the entire time talking to locals rather than serving or collecting orders etc leaving the two other staff to do everything when it did then start to get busy.

Nice local pub. Drinks reasonably priced. Warm enough with a fish tank at one end of the pub. Friendly barmaid.
Didn't get chance to try any food as they had 'sold out' which was a shame.

Such a friendly lovely atmosphere. Met my friend here and we did the quiz that is on every 2 weeks on a Thursday. We were made to feel welcome, involved and had a great time. Food was exceptional and service/staff were amazing.

In the middle of nowhere. Brilliant. Good beers on draught. More importantly, cold beers for those hot days. Slight mix-up with food, but sorted out. Brilliant staff.
