Very helpful members of staff and a good option of goods on sale.

About a year ago they adopted a new pricing policy I find truly unacceptable. Many second hand items are being sold at prices comparable to second hand retailers such as Ebay, or sales prices such as 50% RRP. This is for items they received for free as donations. That kind of mark-up is completely outrageous. It's exploiting the charity of others.Charity shops serve two important purposes. To raise funds for the charities they represent, and to provide affordable goods to the community. The latter part is being completely overlooked by this establishment. If you're hard up and looking for value clothing, cookware, and entertainment, charity shops are a veritable Shangri-La. We as the community donate to them so that our unwanted possessions can go on to a home that will appreciate and benefit from them more. While they are happy to ignore the people of Chesham who are in need, I am happy to donate to more reasonable shops. I will not encourage these policies by buying anything unreasonably priced, and I don't think anyone else should. Utterly shameful.
