Don't know what all the negative reviews are about this place, maybe things have changed for the better. Went in this morning for prepaid collection of two items, no issues at all. Served by Zowie, all smiles and efficiency just as you would expect.On this experience would definitely use them again.

Zero star!Very unhelpful staff and manager ignorant and rude. Staff doesn?t know what they are doing and confuse themselves by mixing the products together and lost what they are doing. was trying to return a product within the return period but they refused to return and hiding inside the hall not coming out to help, and when came out just with cold words and refused to listen or explain the reason for not accepting. after contact customer service on the phone customer service believe I?m within the return period but only got told the store has a different policy which was never explained to us before or after purchase, and yet there is no way of making complaint or voice . This is very bad, I never leave bad reviews but this is beyond acceptable ! I hope Argos can look at the reviews so many negative reviews for this store here that does mean something .

Assistant manager very rude, very unprofessional . My son tried returning faulty airpods with proof of purchase. Was virtually accused of swapping the airpods as serial code didn't match the recharging case. Even though we were advised by apple the serial codes never match! She wouldn't accept that instead threatened to call security unless we left the store! I thought she was being so rude perhaps because my son was in his 20s, but after reading further reviews no it seems to be the norm with everyone!I phoned and spoke to this woman to complain about how she dealt with my son. Again I found her phone manner very rude. Even putting the phone down on me when I was still requesting what time the argos manager would be in the store the following day!!Needless to say the manager apologised and agreed my son was correct and they sent the airpods for repairs.I had previously been just days before to return a cheap item that wasn't fit for purpose, the same assistant manager was there when I made a return, she was not approachable wouldn't even acknowledge me when I was making a complaint. Instead leaving an untrained staff member to struggle with my refund! While she just stood there. She needs sacking.

horrible staff, mostly seem to be kids who have no idea what they are doing. they do not accept returns when they say they do. they have a sign in the store that simply states that you can return if you change your mind within 30 days, took a pair of earphones to exchange and they stated they couldn't return because they have been used. they completely disregard this policy aswell as warranty. something needs sorting out.

Rude and unhelpful staff refused a return when we had evidence of an online chat saying we could return the product. Alex was rude, unpleasant and unreasonble. Will never be shopping in Argos again. Worst customer service ever experienced.

Terrible experience, the manager is quite rude, (short Asian women), the staff at the till was untrained & needed constant help. Argos/Sainsburys please Train your staff better.Clearly since Sainsburys took over the staff are not happy as most of the stores are now terrible. Staff are untrained & miserable, I actually dread going to argos now & tend to try & shop anywhere else.None of the argos staff ever smile anymore, which is quite sad really.Train your staff better & make argos nice again. Keep your staff happy so they smile & provide a better service.

Honestly one of the rudest members of staff I?ve ever had to deal with. My wife experienced it first hand in store and then I did over the phone.Will never visit this store again and feel sorry for those she will target next.

Love having an Argos in Chesham. Items I need are usually in stock or can be ordered in for next day delivery. Staff are very friendly & approachable. Thank you for your hard work.

I reserved a couple of items on line yesterday and was advised to call in today where they would be waiting for me. They were waiting, I liked them, I paid for them and then I brought them home. The two young men that served me were smiley, really helpful and pleasant, whatâ??s not to like? Lots of parking at this Sainsburyâ??s store so that wasnâ??t a problem either. Very impressed.

I wanted to buy something from here and the box was jaded. Opened the box later to find out that it wasn't a new product(that it was a product that has been previously used and returned).
