Closed! Got there at about 5.50pm today. All locked up and lights off. Sign says closes 6pm. Not professional and not helpful to those working full time outside Buckingham.

Went to get a key cut today during normal, advertised opening hours. It was closed, with no note and no indication when it would be open. Waited for 35 minutes as I really needed a cut cut today, but no sign of anyone.Lost business from me and 4 other people that came during that time

I arrived there at 17.40 wanting a watch battery changed. I was told there was not enough time to change the battery as he closed at 18.00. How ridiculous and how unhelpful.

Avoid these amateurs at all costs, save your time and money and travel further afield to find a reputable cobbler who can actually repair shoes.I had to return three times over as many weeks as gluing a new sole over the old one was beyond the skill of these "cobblers". The soles were peeling off again after their third attempt. I glued it myself in the end and it has been fine since. No refund would be given as they took my receipt upon initial collection, and denied all knowledge when questioned.Secondly, a pair of work boots I dropped off at the same time have been lost without a trace. They had my number but left it to me to query their whereabouts, avoiding responsibility it seems. Again, nothing has been followed up on by them.Poor workmanship and terrible customer service. One star is one too many.

Where to begin? Took a key in to have a spare cut - now the original key has a code on it that tells the blank type and the actual cut - not if you work at Timpsons it doesn't apparently - they think that either just looking at the key or comparing it with pictures in a book will do the same job. So 5 visits later and I eventually get my key - doesn't fit - their answer? - wrong key profile mate!!!!!!!!!!! Got a refund and rang a company called express key services, gave them my key number and 48 hours later a key that worked landed came through my letterbox.
