Came over for a Sunday roast and couple of pints. Sat in the back garden where Cheryl and Joey has kept me company keeping the vibes up with their stories and overall chat. Once I was served with the Sunday roast I was pleasantly surprised with the overall presentation on the plate. What surprised me even more was how well cooked and seasoned the Sunday roast was. The vegetables were perfect, soft inside and lightly roasted for the texture on outside. Cauliflower cheese has improved significantly since the new chef has taken over! Overall I give this establishment a stamp of quality food and atmosphere . 5/5.

This is a great pub and well worth visiting. All the food is freshly cooked, and the chefs take great pride in their work. Coming out to customers and checking everything is OK. The bar staff are friendly and welcoming, providing a good service too. We usually visit on a Friday evening as there's live music, but there's plenty going on with quiz nights and open mic, etc. We booked a table as it can get very busy. Six of us had dinner with a bottle of wine, drinks, and pudding, which was £140 - £23pp excellent value. We don't particularly enjoy chain venues, so for us, this is a superb place to visit. All areas are very clean and there's a car park adjacent to the pub. Dogs are permitted.It's really good that Bourne End has still got 1 pub! I would highly recommend it.

I love this pub. It has a great atmosphere, the staff are soooo friendly. I couldn't think of a better pub to go to. The food is lovely - best cheesy chips in the UK! It is well worth a visit - I am sure you will love it too.

The new chef has arrived and today was the first Sunday roast. I had the pork and it was spectacular. Perfectly cooked with crackling, roast potatoes, cauliflower, parsnips, Yorkshire pudding with parsnip crisps and thick, unctuous gravy. I?ll be back.
