Aldi at one point was considered the cheapest retailer in UK and was sort of looked down upon and ppl preferred buying from other retailers and with increasing costs Aldi has become customer favourite. A full range of grocery products. The only bad part is very restricted online grocery

This is an ok supermarket for one or two items. I was relieved to see self serve tills installed as some male staff would throw the items through the scanner at the checkout as though a need to get home quick, and items with a 30 o/o discount label not processed due to their lack of care scanning items too fast, but i found that staff were standing at the self serve tills asking if paying with cash or card, then short while later a member of staff decided to interfere and scan my items without asking me while i was scanning them myself which i did not require. This happened in the last hour of closing. A couple of weeks lateri encountered a member of staff standing near the s.s. tills and when i asked if i can use a one, his response was incompehendable as he was mumbling, and he pointed to a till, then a second male appeared and they both stood behind me while i scanned my items,facing me and talking, then suddenly the second male leant over to me and asked me if i need any help.......I said No thank you, and i heard a uhh.. As i was coming to the end, the same man pounced on an item still in my trolley telling me i had forgotten it, before i had chance to check for myself.After i had paid, i went to turn away with my trolley and the same man was so close that he was almost inside it, and he said Have a nice evening ok?... around 9.30 -45pm i was asked to have a nice evening and with a raised pitch upon the word ok, as though i was being asked a question. Self serve is exactly that, yet i was asked if need help when i clearly did not require any. Staff need some training and to leave customers alone. If someone requires help, they'll ask for it and staff should not be standing behind customers having conversations with each other. In the last hour of closing staff seem to be trying to move customers on and get them out of the shop.

Busy at the checkout with only one till open. This seems to be the way since they installed the self checkouts.A few items I wanted weren't available but that seems to be standard at supermarkets lately.

Love this aldi it's big and generally fully stocked. Can get busy but there is the advantage of having the food warehouse next door

Just a pop in. Just don't go around 3 pm on a school day.Kids are limited going in, but they have no respect for the store or other shoppers.Aldi do their best to control how many are inside. But they're everywhere outside. The school should support this.Otherwise, it's a good size store. Self checkout helps too for just a few items. But often closed later in the day or early evening. I guess staffing it is a problem.There are never enough tills open or staff to manage long queues. I hate them bundling everything back in your trolley. They made you wait to pay but can't wait to push you through the checkout when it's finally your turn. The staff lack pleasantries. Customer service could be improved a lot.

Great products ( not market leading brands) just tried and trusted everyday items at very good prices. Some of the more popular stuff goes very quickly and new items tend not to be on the shelves the following week or has been discontinued ( possibly one off stock, clearance). The non food items are of particular interest to me as they are also great value for money .Overall good value.

What you see is what you get. A no frills but low cost, good quality supermarket especially for fresh meat and vegetables, / fruit.
