Really impressed with The Dove Café. Every single person we met was welcoming, cheerful, and clearly giving up their time just to make sure the community has somewhere special to come together.
The tea was spot on (served properly hot, in a proper tea pot!) and the menu had a great variety, something for everyone. My son enjoyed one of the kids lunchboxes which was full of high quality items and to my amazement was free over the summer holidays through their funding partners. The garden was a hit, full of ride in cars which kept my son entertained and they had a great area inside for younger toddlers to play.
Huge thanks to all the dedicated volunteers who keep this place running.

The Dove Cafe is such a wonderful community spot! Run by amazing volunteers, it has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere from the moment you walk in.
The indoor play and spacious garden are fantastic for children. We visited in the hot spell and the canopy provided some much wanted shade! From wherever you are sat enjoying a coffee you have full view of the children meaning you can relax and they can play safely- a win win!
A special thank you to Ella, who went above and beyond to make our visit extra special. Her kindness and warmth really stood out. She is a real asset to the cafe.
We?re so lucky to have a place like The Dove Cafe in our community.

Cute little church-attached cafe. Good place for light bites, sandwiches etc. Often lots of kids, as there is a play area.

Fantastic place. The staff and volunteers work incredibly hard to run this place. It's a wonderful resource for the community and a brilliant, inclusive space.

Tried this cafe for some lunch after my child?s swim lesson, we hadn?t been here before, and unfortunately I don?t think we will come back.
The food itself was tasty, a small menu but good for a non-profit cafe. It was expensive for what it was (2 toasties, a kids lunch box and 2 coffees) were nearly £30 total. The building was nice; spacious and plenty of seating to choose from. However table was dirty upon arrival and I had to wipe it down myself. There was an outside play area for children which my child played in with his aunty, they both said there was plenty of toys to choose from and play with.
On the menu, it mentioned that some of the staff may have sensory processing disorders and could get distressed if there was too much loud noise, and I felt so sorry for the staff as there were a lot of kids screaming, screeching and causing far too much noise while in the cafe, while their parents just sat there talking to other parents sitting with them. In fact, it started to give me a headache the amount of noise they were making (I completely understand that it isn?t the cafe?s fault) this made the general overall atmosphere of the cafe really uninviting and I genuinely couldn?t wait to get out. The wait for food was estimated about 15 minutes due to only 2 or 3 staff working but it was more like a 5-10 minute wait (which is also fine).
As said at the start, I don?t think we will come back to this cafe. It would probably be a lot better atmosphere if it weren?t the school holidays.

A very warm and welcoming community cafe! While having our salads one of the servers came and asked us if we wanted to try some fresh greens from their garden - it was the freshest Caesar salad I?ve ever had! Definitely recommend this place! Our lattes were deliciously made as well!

Loved this place. Staff are welcoming, food is delicious and reasonably priced. Ideal for a family outing with space for toddlers to play outside.

Local cafe inside the church, we don't attend this church but dropped in for lunch and the food and service was perfect. I really like the stained glass windows.

My friend and I went to the Dove cafe and both had the sausages in a roll. I can honestly say this is the best I have had. The sausages were really delicious in a lovely crusty roll. I can't wait to go again. And again lol
