Went to WHSmiths high street post office today in Aylesbury, to get passport forms and asked the gentleman behind the counter how to renew my drivers licence, he politely said I can do it here all I need is to take a photo and fill in the form, and you done. Great service

I went to the post office this morning and the queue was right up to the entrance of the store. Only two sales assistants were working while there was a lady who was only interested in making things ready for the next shift. She was also behind the counter. Its pathetic to see the two workers were working hard whereas she would have opened up another counter to make things easier. Shame to see some workers don't see and never work as a team.

Shabby, dirty, dusty, disinterested staff and overpriced products.
I asked for stamps at the desk, they didn?t have any - what kind of stationers doesn?t have stamps in stock.
Shockingly bad!

It's a great shop with fabulous staff who put up with a lot of unacceptable behaviour from certain members of the public at times. I've seen poor Simon almost reduced to tears by the onslaught of verbal filth & depravity from one old woman. However despite this Simon & his colleagues remain cheerful, polite & helpful. I do wish some people would realise it's a shop not a library & actually BUY magazines rather than stand there reading them. I have offered to screech obscenities & attack these tightwads with a stick but the staff have politely declined my offer pointing out the dangers of litigation.

I will say that the store would benefit from a face-lift to help brighten it up with new fixtures, a lick of paint & maybe some new lighting as some areas of the store seem very dark compared to others.I see people complaining about 'queues' at the post office but everytime I go the queue is practically non-existent and only busy on pension days.I agree that price labels rarely match the product on the rack, however, the staff in store are always very polite and helpful, with some actually going that extra mile to help, I had one really helpful staff member run off from the till only to return moments later with a free gift that I failed to see when buying a half price book, great service imo.I do think WHSmiths lost a lot of customers when they removed things years ago like dvd's, cd's, video games and toys etc as there are really no other stores in the town to compete with except the many second hand stores and with the likes of HMV leaving Aylesbury completely.I also see people complaining about pricing, yet the store also has tons of items that are lower priced compared to other big stores, like books and stationary and numerous offers at the front of the store.Yes, they could benefit from more staff, but if they don't have 'buying-customers' , then how can they afford more staff. As a former retail manager, I would suggest the company takes a look at rebranding, refitting, rebooting to attract a large customer base before the company goes the way of all the other big stores that have left the town centres.

A well-stocked and very clean stationery shop. Located in the city center, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Books of all kinds, gift cards, annual diaries, books for school, books for traveling and learning other languages ??of the world. This is my latest purchase, very beautiful and interesting

Great store. Forgot to pick up my item from self service when I was in a rush, went back the next day and they had put the item aside for me. Great products at reasonable prices.

we are students that went into WHsmith to post a parcel and we qued in the que and politely asked a lady called sara if i can put my rubbish in the bin, and she said no thankyou and started shouting at us telling us there are bins all around aylesbury and she would appreciate us if we didn?t ask again. we then said it?s fine in the same manner we spoke to her before and she said from the till ?there?s a bin in mcdonald?s, waste your time there?. we then left the situation and went to the post office where we had found a bin in the waiting queue. we had left the rubbish there and as we were walking out she said thanks for leaving it behind. we told her we binned it and she carried on making snarky comments. we got her name and she responded with why do u need my name is it because i?m rude. we don?t appreciate this type of customer service, especially as we all work in retail ourselves. we?re upset with the manners she spoke in and we suggest you do something about it before she scares more customers away.

Good variety of notebooks and maps. But is always untidy; products do not correspond to prices on shelves.
