Really lovely place and friendly staff. Basic, but everything you really need - close to town, easy to reach, quiet rooms, blackout curtains. Lots of space to park, and a superstore almost directly below it for any snacks etc. Would definitely recommend.

It's a Travelodge.Conveniently located next to a Waitrose. You get a clean room and you sleep in it. There is a basic bar and the usual breakfast options. Parking is in the adjacent multi story and must be paid for.

Just come back from an amazing weekend ,family party. This Travelodge is by far the best every member of staff friendly and very helpful rooms where so clean and comfortable, breakfast was great hot food was replenished quickly and an abundance of all other items also, tables cleaned and cleared so efficiently.

Overall a really pleasant stay.
Tanya on reception was absolutely lovely and so accommodating. Room was really nice and clean too, we would definitely stay again.

Lovely clean accommodation with plenty of complimentary tea and coffee. Location was very pleasant as it is next to a canal which has a very nice walk. Service was excellent, Lakshmi in particular was incredibly friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

The stay was really good..the lady on the desk was so helpful and polite and lived in the area most of her life I believe..an advocate for the Tourist Information centre!
My only downer in the place is that the room being on the 3rd floor was like an oven and the little fan just didn't really do much.
But otherwise..great place!

I have booked a family room. The room is clean and tidy. Service of the staff are also good.
However, the room that I have at first cannot be opened by my key card. A staff has to use her card to let me in and then she try for some time to let my card useful but in vain. So, we have to change to another room.
At about 3am, a staff knock on my door to tell me to keep quiet. I am a little bit confused because we are just using normal voice to talk inside. It seems that the sound insulation between rooms are not good enough.

I travel widely across the UK and the company usually puts me in a Travelodge. Aylesbury is the standard others across the brand should aspire to. It is undoubtedly my favourite and I say that having stayed in dozens of others.
The cleanliness, attention to detail and standard of maintenance is top notch. The soap dispensers are filled with pleasant coconut scented product. All too often elsewhere they are broken, at least one empty or filled with harsh cheap chemical stuff. Small details can make a big difference.
The location is great, providing a quiet restful space. Although it is in the town centre rooms face away from the main road overlooking the canal and a quiet residential area.
Breakfast is fresh and decent quality with bottomless drinks and all you can eat convenience.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work.
