Spent 2 nights here.Good value and all as required for short breaks. The shower is small but very powerful unlike most posh hotels and guesthouses I've stayed inOnly gripe is having to pay expensive parking charges,as no alternative on road alternative. Not down Travel Lodge though, thank the local council.

Right in the town next to theatrePaid for parking in multi storey on 3rd floor but is same building.Entrance to travelodge not obvious as its round the corner by canal.Room is functional and clean and good valueBar open 24hr and pizza served till 3amWaitrose in same building Walk across the road and weatherspoons pub, cinema, and then town centre full of restaurants and shops. If staying in Aylesbury then great location and maybe catch a show in the theatre next door

****TAKE EARPLUGS***** *** KEPT UP ALL NIGHT BY WAITROSE DELIVERYS!!!!!great location as we were going to the theatre which was right beside the hotel but what an awful night I had?. We was on the ground floor in room number 2.. at around 5pm we could hear what sounded like a big suitcase on wheels being walked backwards and forwards and a chair being scraped on the floor, we just thought it was coming from one of the rooms around us..we went out & came back just before 11pm to go to bed? the noise was still going on but was much louder, also now we could hear a different noise like someone was in the corner of one of the room banning loads of stuff on the floor? I went to complain and I was told that as the hotel is attached to Waitrose the noise we was hearing was the night staff doing the night deliveries & the suitcase noise was the big metal trollies being moved.. apparently the the ground floor and first floor first few rooms get it the worst.. by 12 I had enough and sat in the bar having a few drinks to see if that would help me get to sleep? 3.30 I finally got to sleep only to be woken up again around 4 with the noise again? I was fuming? i managed to fall asleep as by this time I was knackered, up at 9 to speak to the manager? she was all smiles but denied knowing anything about the noise and said no one else complained..well from the night I had I can say now, there?s no way no one hears it!!!!!! Honestly It?s awful? we was given a e voucher for the amount of our stay but to me, that wasn?t enough as it ruined my night?.sophia the night staff were lovely but there was nothing they could do for me.. I find it funny how the manager said she knew nothing about the noise that goes on every night!!!! Definitely won?t be back

1.the ladies at the reception, including the blond hair old lady which is their manager( when they're present) are full of fake smiles but not helpful at all.2.apparently people are allowed to smoke ILLEGAL DRUGS inside the hotel. The smell on corridor was very strong. When I told the reception manager about this she said that they will "patrol" more often the corridor and she tried to downplay it saying that people smoke outside and their clothes smell, but we know that this ain't the truth, don't we?3.food is OK4.the coffee machine was broken for 3 consecutive days ( it took them some time to fix it)5.coffee is awful6.location is good7.parking : you need to pay around 8£ / day which is awful8.much terrible than parking Is WI-FI....they charge 3 £ for 24h, where it should be free for a hotel.9.i hope services will improve.....Rooms: Nice and clean, but when you ask for the room makeup they don't do it properly, they're very lazySafety: Not suitable if you stay with children, they smoke illegal drugs inside the hotelFood & drinks: Tipical British food, not greatNoteworthy details: Stay away

This was our first stay in a travelodge. We booked Aylesbury as it was so close to the theatre. Our welcome from Sophie was nothing but warm friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed seemed comfy. On our return from the theatre which was literally next door we visited the bar. Again lovely service from the lady behind the bar. The comfy bed did not disappoint, great nights sleep, super shower and one of the best Buffett breakfasts we have had. All in all a night to remember. Thank you Travelodge. Sue and Paul.Nearby activities: Theatre on the doorstep

Amazing experience, the best I have ever had in Travelodge/ Premier Inn.The best part was the Receptionist ALLISON! What a joy to be around! I think I only gave a 5 Star Review because of her! Do meet her when you go. If you can?t, enjoy the view and the canal!
