Brilliant service! Replaced a broken spring pin on a watch strap free of charge. Would definitely recommend Timpsons.

Unexpectedly brilliant service .....give that man a donut!
Popped into the Timpsons Station way Alyesbury , today expecting your usual in-and-out, transactional sort of thing? but what a pleasant surprise!
I was greeted by a gentleman who actually gets what great customer service looks like... the kind we all wish was standard. Big smile, super clear, gets straight to the point, job done efficiently, all with a bit of charm and a nice splash of humour.
It made the whole experience feel less like a chore and more like, well, a good chat with someone who knows what they?re doing. Friendly, professional, and just a genuinely nice guy.
Tesco Tring Road ? take note!
Go down there, shake this guy?s hand, and give him a promotion !
Thank you Taz for the best service you deserve everything and more .
Fantastic service ? 10/10

Lovely experience. Alex was really sweet and got my dress dry cleaned quickly. Even though he had a tough customer in front of me, he had every opportunity to be off but served me with a smile and was very chatty.

Gareth was utterly amazing!! I?m 500mils away from home and broke the tip of my work shoes on day 1 of a 2 week course! He had me going again in 10 minutes, all done with a smile and an excellent demeanour!!
Couldn?t thank him enough! ?

Absolutely awful experience with Timpson. I took a pure silk item to be cleaned, and when it was returned, due to the dry cleaning chemicals that are used it was permanently marked - they blamed me for getting it dirty in the first place. When I gave it to them it was not 'stained' - essentially they will also lie to cover themselves. There is no empathy, customer service or any attempt to look after the customer. The escalation process is bizarre. I have spent months seeking a simple gesture of goodwill from them and a bit of human kindness.In-store, to be fair, they were very sympathetic and wanted to compensate me but could not and had to pass to HQ. Woe betide that happens to you because no shred of humanity or kindness is left there. You get stonewalled, and it quickly snowballs into a giant mountain of pain and worry. I have never been to small claims court, but Timpson HQ provides this option as the only way to escalate. I then sat in a hearing and listened to the Timpson person lie and lie and lie. It was at that point I knew I was never going to win. For Timpson it is never going to be about the customer because their Dry Cleaning Manager appears to have a personal target for how many customers she can get to take her to the small claims court so she can use her well-versed, somewhat dubious story to stack up personal wins. Costing Timpson more in time and money than it would be to just be honest and decent and make a goodwill gesture by way of apology.Simply THE WORST and most terrifying customer experience strategy I have ever come across. What sort of company nowadays encourages customers to seek legal advice from the first interaction and goads to 'see them in Court'? Why, why would any decent company or person want to do that?I categorically state that neither my family nor friends will ever use any of their branches again. I tell everyone about my bad experience story and encourage them to take their business elsewhere. It was just the most abysmal and iniquitous encounter I have ever had, and I will regret ever choosing their service and entrusting them with my dry-cleaning.Nice comment added to this post by Timpson. Only here they finally admit that they can't always actually clean garments. What they should have been honest enough to let me know when I initally took my dress to them so I could have made a decision before they made a bad food mark permanent. No, readers I can assure you that I didn't take them up on the offer. I never want to embark in another interaction with Timpson, particulary the awful person at HQ. You can keep the £17 I paid for the dry cleaning. The rest I will leave to karma.Just know this (which I was told after my dress was ruined by the Timpson Manager)- Dry cleaning chemicals are petroleum-based.- They can interact negatively with a garment dependent on the fabric and dirt being removed from it.- Dry cleaners know this but are under no obligation to tell you when you hand your item into their care and they make no promises to even get your item clean.- The chemicals can permanently set a mark on a garment and ruin it as a result of their process.- There is nothing you can do if it comes back worse than it was when you take it in.Beware.

I took a big black bag full of shirts and knitted items to Timpsons at the Tesco Aylesbury store and was served by Kevin who was standing in and usually works at the Morrisons Timpsons. I usually use a local dry cleaners but they were closed on this Sunday. Being in Sales myself, I know only too well that customer service is everything and people buy from people. Kevin not only has his customer service nailed to the bone, his enthusiasm and going above and beyond for his customers is evident in his work. Not only will I now be using the Morrisons Timpsons store for my dry cleaning and custom, I will be telling everyone of my friends and family about the wonderful service I received today and to use Timpsons, Morrisons going forward. Repeat business is a sign of a happy customer and I will be coming back each week. Thanks Kevin - Timpsons are luck to have you - I hope they realise this and wish you every success. I genuinely feel you are needed higher up within the company.
