I recently visited sports Direct in Aylesbury.
I found the department I was looking at in such a state!
Boxes of Trainers just left , nothing tidied away.
One young assistant was really working and serving to his best but the other one was constantly sitting down when she could and on her phone!
Customer service has just gone, I wouldn't visit the shop again but I can only wear trainers because of a health reason, where else is there!?

Awful. No costumer service not enough staff, waited 20 minutes to get a pair of shoes in a size to try on. No staff checking in the women's department only in the men's. Sexism in stores should be extinct but now it 2025! Staff miserable needing more training! Or don't work in costumers service roles!

Some bargains to be found, but often out of stock of middle sizes. Beware stricter than common returns policies. Quality is variable, so make sure to do your research beforehand if you want something that is truly waterproof.

I wish I could give zero stars. The Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Academy MG boots were priced at £78 in-store, over 30% higher than Nike's website (£48). Finding staff for assistance was a struggle, and when I asked about price matching, the cashier rudely declined and demanded I return the shoes upstairs myself. This experience was frustrating and unprofessional. Sports Direct should adopt fair pricing and train staff to improve customer service. Please stop exploiting customers' hard-earned money.

I recently visited a Sports Direct store intending to buy a pair of badminton shoes, but the experience was frustrating and disappointing. The staff seemed completely uninterested in assisting customers. Despite several employees being around, no one approached me or even acknowledged my presence. It felt as if they were just there to pass the time, with zero intention of actually helping customers.
When I tried to ask for help, I was met with indifference and one-word responses. No one bothered to guide me to the right section or offer any advice on the products. After a while, I gave up and left without buying anything, feeling that my visit was a waste of time. If Sports Direct is going to provide such poor in-store service, they might as well close their physical stores and focus solely on their online operations. It?s clear they don?t value the experience of in-store customers, and that?s truly disappointing.

Wow. Where to begin. No staff to help on the shoes. Have to chase staff around the shop like a madman and they have the nerve to say ?sorry they are serving someone else? which is def not the case. Please head office sort this lot out. It?s getting ridiculous.

Poor, poor and more poor. This placw is in need of staff and major training!! Waited over 45 minutes with two young children just so we could try a pair of trainers on?!? Even after asking for assistance 7 times and asked to wait a further 7 times we left. There wasa multitude of other incredibly frustrated people waiting also, luckily a man at the door was incredibly helpful when told and jumped into action to help all the people waiting, which was A LOT!!!! seriously employ some staff, the poor girl at the till took the brunt of everyones frustration and she is definitely not being paid enough to deal with that. Absolutely terribly organised and run shop, severely in need of staff and training. Can happily say i will never be returning!!

Awful store. The first young man we were greeted by was lovely could not fault him, He said we are really busy today but if you need anything I am over there. However after that it went down hill. A man appeared after a little while, I asked for a trainer in a size. He came back with a completely different trainer and said I can't find it but we have this in your size and i said i did not want them as they are no good. He then said I'll have another look for you. We waited over ten minutes and he then appeared and walked straight passed us. I court up with him and asked him about the trainers and he blatantly lied though his teeth and in a rude tone said I told you we don't have them. Which he never did.
We then went down stairs to look at other trainers and there was no body working in the down stairs area of the trainers. I was not the only customer looking for a staff member. I Eventually found two members of staff chatting and I was left waiting until they had finished their conversation. No Apology was given. Bear in mind I waited at least two minutes before they spoke to me. Not even I'll be with you in a second etc.... the man showed me what he thought i wanted... obviously it wasnt and well he did not wait for my response... he said here they are and walked off before I had a chance to say anything more. The woman at the till was also rude. No smiles just giving dirty looks. The only thing said was the cost.
So I paid for one of things I went in for and gave up on everything else.
Staff are so rude and not helpful at all. More Intrested in socialising with each other and hiding.

I have complained to head office. It will be interesting to see what the reply will be. And If they reply to this review..!!
And if they reply to any other reviews on here?
Also THEY DO NOT deserve one star..
So my one star goes to the first staff member that approached us.

Worst customer service. When you need help the staffs will not come to help you. They will hide from you... Very rude behaviour too.... Worst customer service.. We can clearly see that thay will hide... I am going other shops too, but this is worst...

Popped in spotted a pair of Slazenger trainers at a beaut price.
Assistant wasted no time in finding me a pair to try on.
