The staff with red hair - I believe he is the STORE MANAGER? Worst customer experience ever! How can someone like him even be in charge of a store?The staff with red hair working In the trainers section today ( 09.12.23 around 7 pm) is the reason why this store will never be successful or gain a good reputation. All I wanted was shoes for my little 1 year old. Before I even finished my question, whether we can measure her feet, he said ? NO go find a shoe yourself and bring it to me if you think it fits?.?The attitude was soo bad and it felt like he didn?t even want to try to help us! I don?t know what his problem was, but he clearly shouldn?t be working in a customer facing role. He was more busy ticking off things on a piece of paper than wanting to help us!I tried ignoring his behaviour and went ahead and chose shoes I liked. When I asked him for a size for 4 different trainers , he disappeared for 30 seconds to the warehouse, came back said they had only had one available. Not sure how you can check stock for 4 different type of shoes that quick.When I asked him when the next stock would be in he said ? I don?t know, maybe never??. Great way to get customer retention!!!This was the rudest experience i have ever had- he was so rude and so unprofessional. We then saw him being rude to at least 3 more customers , who simply wanted to try a shoe. He must have cost the company at least £200 in those 3 minutes I was in store.Unless you sack people like this or put in a disciplinary meeting, sports direct will never be successful. As a retail store this is not acceptable.I probably won?t get a reply to this and I doubt anyone in the head office or senior role will even reading this! I doubt there be any consequences for the individual, but I want to put out there, that if you ever have a similar experience as we did today, please record him and upload it on social media- seems to be the only way to expose people like him!

Asked if I could get a refund. Told yes. Lies. Two hours later told only credit note. When I said I was previously told I could have a refund, rude smarmy boy at the till said, we don't have to tell you there is a sign. Manager was polite but did nothing to help. Terrible company. Won't buy from them again.

Took my 9 year old daughter here to get trainer's for PE at school, really disappointed with the lack of choice and not having the right size in stock, eventually found a pair that seemed OK, but later on at home we decided they didn't fit properly, so took them back for a refund.When I got there I was told they don't do refunds, you have to have a credit note??, seriously, you don't have any other trainer's we want in our size, but didn't care, no refund.Wasn't told this before I brought them, I will give the credit note to someone else and never shop in sports direct again.

Tried to set someone to help in this store is absolutely shocking.... where are the staff .... hiding chatting to each other letting customers know they'll be with you in a couple of mins 30 mins later and several trips to the counter where not very many people were buying items... not surprising if you can't get served. This experience has confirmed that I will never shop in this store again.

We ordered a tech fleece, old season twice but it gave us the new season both of the times, terrible service and not reliable.

Disappointing visit this afternoon to SD. When purchasing some Nike Shinpads which were marked with a price of £11 they scanned at the till at £23.99. The description on the £11 ticket clearly related to the product. A manager was called and after a few minutes didn?t offer a solution and merely said they can?t reduce Nike products and they would have to remove them all from sale to speak to Nike. I went and selected another pair of shinpads, only to queue at the till where the customer in front had an incorrectly priced product too. Which another member of staff overrode for them. When purchasing the new pair, the original set where beside the the till with the sticker torn off. Really poor service and clearly poor process and pricing routines which have affected two consecutive customers, who received different service. Astounded.

I don't go to SD because of their poor customer service but am compelled at times. Today's incident reminded me why I used to avoid this place like the plague. The guy with red hair who calls himself the store manager was incredibly rude to my wife who politely asked for help with some trainers. He was rude to me too, despite my polite request for help. I found out from another store staff that he is the assistant manager. To the manager - please speak to this chap as he has a serious problem. Either he has zero customer service skills or has a problem with people of colour. I have never come across such an obnoxious retail worker.

hopeless online customer service - impossible to get an answer and they only respond to the questions they allow you to ask. A mystery why they are still in business

Generally great value. It?s all packed in a bit tight but the variety and quality of stock is really good for the price.

Waited 15 mins to be served in the trainer section, no help from any of the staff, so left without making any purchase.
