I go here regularly as live close. People always friendly and nice. Thus lady called ange in there not shaw if a manager but omg most rudest person I ever met. Couldn't find something and she putting stuff on shelf. He didn't en look at me or acknowledge I was there just its over there at end. No matters full on attitude and for a grown women over 50 thats is so disrespectful ?. I always use manners but I be avoiding her next time. For manager its disgusting and If carry attitude I report to head office. If not shaw she easy too spot has white hair and blue bits on end all curly.

Extremly rude and unprofessional how dare someone tell me they?re not in the mood after being so rude about a redbull it?s a age 16 product that you have to look 16 or younger to be ID?d I am a grown man with a beard and work in a 18+ established a (vape store) and is well known on the law about asking ID and when they was confronted they used a bullshit excuse of ?company policy? to not serve a 16 or older item to a 23 year old even after being shown ID so all I have to say is the whole staff at this store needs retraining and a company policy reread with a customer service training course because of how extremly unprofessional they was p.s all could have been avoided if they asked for ID from the start instead of a huge go around to make it seem like i could buy them then deny after seeing my ID (ontop of all that I?ve read the Sainsbury?s policy about redbull and sales to under 16 so this store has stopped my purchase over they?re tiny egos that a guy who showed ID even tho I really didn?t need to (I have a full grown beard and facial features that make me look my age) so in all honesty think this branch really needs to be retrained on challenge 25 and really need to get there eyes checked out at a nearby spec savers if possible

This is one-star review for the Sainsbury's Local at Oakfield Road, Aylesbury branch (bcos system won't let me give zero stars!)
Needed to use the loo today (13th December 2024) in an emergency due to a bona fide medical condition. Popped in here and asked the "gentleman" staff member (initial "U") if I could use the toilets as it was an emergency. I showed him that "special card" that is issued by the registered charity to show that I suffer from that particular medical condition.
He was clueless in the way he spoke and looked and behaved and just kept saying "there were only Staff toilets" - I asked if I could speak to the Manager and also asked him about their complaints procedure. He spoke on his earpiece then says to me that the manager is busy. He had no idea of the phrase "complaints procedure" and what this meant. I asked if there was anyone else I could speak to. He tries again on his earpiece and says the OTHER manager is also busy. I queried whether they had TWO managers at this same small store. He said yes, two managers ie initals "B" and "L" but neither could come out to even speak to me.
To sum up:
1. Please train your staff to be more empathetic to other humans' urgent needs and let them know that not all disabilities are visible
2. Please train your staff to recognise the various medical emergency cards that are carried by people
3. Please train your staff to have the courage (and not be scared) to come out and speak to the customer, and particularly if they have a complaint. They were clearly watching my conversation from the CCTV cameras just above the checkpoints
4. Please train your staff to recognise and be aware that working in a supermarket (especially a branded one like yours!) is not just about scanning items and stacking shelves ... they need to take "the human factor" into account.
Whilst I appreciate that there are no actual customer toilets, anyone of the staff member could have let me use the loo and even wait outside the loo for just the few minutes that I needed it for in this emergency.
Disappointed in your staffs' heartless and unempathetic stance; and the poor training programme that you clearly have in place.

Ideal for 'every day' items needed last minute or small shop, store unable to carry large variety due to size.

Not so much the store, but a delivery driver, presumably someone like Diliveroo. Happened at 20:03, 13th May. Blocked me in the Disabled bay, even I asked him to move, when he was parking. Didn't even apologise.

Don't forget your mask, or you will be treated like a criminal and recorded by the Security guard! Will never return to any Sainsburys again, ever! There was a Lidl 3mins walk away up the road, they treated me like a normal human being, with respect and compassion!
