Kwik does not mean Quick.
Had 2 appointments last week:
(1) 2 front tyres to be replaced. Appointment booked for afternoon as it was urgent, when I arrived on time, the place didn't look busy, but still it took 2 hrs to replace the tyres (pre-booked online).
(2) Battery replacement. Appointment booked for early morning. Arrived on time, was served straight away... and it still took 2 hours as the car system could not be reset properly with the new battery - I was told it was successful in the end. Next day I had issues with windows not rolling down/up properly. A quick on-line search indicated a failed battery system reset procedure (guess it was not successful in the end). Wondering what other surprises I am going to get. Btw, managed to fix this myself by following the procedure I found on-line.
Generally staff are polite and professional. The seating area is spacious, air conditioned. Maybe I had bad luck with the staff. They all looked very young. Nothing against learning on the job, but seems like supervision of work and general time management wasn't working. First delay blamed on customers not arriving on time (backlog building up). 2nd delay blamed on car system issues - I suppose procedure was not executed properly. Anyhow, I had once tyres swapped at Halfords in Aylesbury, in the afternoon. It looked super busy, and yet they were able to complete the job in 30 mins. I think this is where I will go next. Sorry Kwik Fit, you are not quick enough. I spent 4 hours waiting with 2 cars, 2 different jobs, same place, same week.

One of the worst pieces of customer service I have ever experienced!
Went in to have my tyres checked for replacing at the weekend.
Was abruptly told that they had no time for me that day, they didn?t even have time to have this conversation with me, and to come back another time.
Rude. Impatient. Unhelpful.

I?m a driving instructor, it?s really important that I can get back on the road as soon as possible. An engine management light came on the hire vehicle I?m using at the moment. I took it in today without an appointment and they fitted me in double quick and sorted the problem . The staff are always excellent in Aylesbury . Whilst waiting I was able to see John despite multiple customers, and jobs coming in continually, and constant calls on the phone, always deal with the pressure in a friendly and efficient manner. Just brilliant. Thank you .

My wife and I had just purchased a 2020 Vauxhall Crossland and was having vibration issues with the car believed it to be wheel balancing. Took the car to Jon after completing his assessment of the vehicle he located a buldge on the nsf and a cut exposing cords on the osf meaning the car shouldn't have been sold to us in that condition we replaced the 2 front tyres and because of the detailed inspection completed by Jon ment we was able to get our money back from the dealer. Issue sorted and crisis averted

If you buy new tyres from KwikFit, and you happen to have TPMS, they will charge you for changing the valve but won?t change them because of TPMS!
The company should be rebranded Kwik Steal

Had my undertray come loose whilst driving and drove straight to Kwik Fit on a Saturday with no booking. The team were more than happy to get the car straight on the ramp and secure it with zip ties so it won?t come off again, and they did it completely free of charge. Huge thanks to Dave and Tommy for the quick and friendly help!

Tom and Desmond love them fitted my car in for a tyre change and changed quickly and tyre was cheap and cheerful

Slowly deflating tyre. Two guys spent 30 minutes testing , removing tyre, fitting new valve with tyre pressure monitor, balanced the wheel and refitted. £22, a bargain.

Brilliant ! Quick, spot at it. They are the professionals when coming to tyres, alignment, breakes. I have used multiple companies in the past where i had to pay a good fee for checking alignment after fitting tyres.. the same was done here at a no extra. Good place, highly recommended. Would visit again in future.
