I have been working for Home Instead Aylesbury for 18 months now and can honestly say it is the best 18 months of my working life.I have been supported with so much over this time.Training is always ongoing giving me the tools I need to do my job with confidence.I work with an amazing team of carers who look out for each other.

I was welcomed with so much warmth by everyone at Home Instead Aylesbury. I am very happy to be working with people who care so much about others. Everyone here does their job wholeheartedly and we work as a team. Such a beautiful home away from home. An excellent team indeed.

We were put in touch with Home Instead when my husband was very ill, and coming out of hospital. We did not know quite how ill at the time, but we did know that he would find it difficult/impossible to do all the usual things a person can do when they are well; that he would hate the loss of independence, and that we wanted him to be at home but realised we could not cope without help. Home Instead were recommended highly by a friend so we took the plunkge. Frome the first contact they were professional, kind, sensitive and encouraging. Nothing seemed impossible. This was in marked contrast to other agencies we also approached. Home Instead offered a very personal service , tailored to our specific needs, and got the picture long before they met the patient. I appreciated their efficiency and attention to detail, and this was before I even met the carers. That was a very pleasant experience. We had a programme of help in the morning and help in the evening. The carers were completely wonderful. They nursed with gentleness and tact, and the minimum of interference. They were quiet and clean and tactful and experienced and delightful. We felt very lucky to get the support we needed even more than we realised. I could not recommend this service more

I started working at Home Instead in Dec 2021. I've been really grateful for the experience and have gained so many transferable skills through working within the Care Professional role. I'm proud to be part of an exceptional team and my colleagues really take pride in their work. The office team do their best for both clients and their staff - when I requested a change of hours they did their best to facilitate this and helped me to find a schedule that worked best for me and my family. Fay has been really supportive as a manager and since Luan joined my schedules have been vastly improved. There are opportunities for picking up extra hours when needed and progression through supported learning is greatly encouraged through NVQs. I love my clients, you finish your working day feeling like you've really made a difference and done something meaningful with your time.

I love working for Homeinstead and getting up in the morning going to see my clients and their happy faces when I arrive.I know that with all my knowledge I am able to keep my client safe, and for them to be able to stay in their own homes, and be able to carry on living a normal life. It brings me great satisfaction at the end of the day to know I have done a good deed, and helped someone who needs it.

I have been a Care Provider with Home Instead for 18 months now.Having never worked in the care profession before, I was given all the support I needed for my role.I never imagined I would enjoy my job as much as I do. I don't even consider it a job most of the time, it's like visiting old friends. Don't get me wrong, some days can be a challenge, but knowing you have made that small difference to somebody's day, week, month, far outweighs anything else.

My father had been having a morning call for around a month, which we were really happy with. The carers were on time, very friendly & helpful, giving me reassurance as I live 50 miles away. I then received a call on a Saturday morning where his carer realised he was unwell, we jumped in the car as were worried. I called to ask for extra visits over the w/e and these were accommodated quickly, with his regular carer Donna coming in the evening, which was really appreciated. Dad was admitted to hospital that night & returned after 10 days with a much increased package of care, where again they were able to accommodate at short notice. The carers are kind, understanding and compassionate. They are assisting with improving his mobility with the aim of him regaining some of his previous independence. I cannot recommend Home Instead highly enough!

Thanks to all the care and support from Home Instead my life has recovered following a serious stroke and heart attack allowing me to spend time with my family and travel to Portugal for a holiday and Laos to support LEOT a charity providing support for disadvantaged students in Laos. The future is now much brighter and I?m sure that with the support of my wonderful carers 2023 will be an exciting year.

Last year I needed care for my wife, I proceeded to contact such dignity many companies who specialises in personal care, they were full at the time of contacting them, then by chance I found Home Instead a company I would recommend , they have looked after my wife with dignity ,and have helped when I have asked for help.The staff are wonderful and helpful, and my wife enjoyed their visits overall I would recommend Home Instead.

Nearly two years of service and its been brilliant, love my clients but its wonderful when I actually meet up with other carers on double ups. It's nice to see fresh faces as well and it's amazing what we learn off each other and to see that we get on as a team is inspiring. I'm thankfully that I chose Home Instead as a company to work for... yes we all need to give ourselves a pat on the back.
